Recently realized there's all these posts about "all my friends are getting married and having babies" but when you're the only person among your group of friends that's married and having a baby its really weird. Like I feel like my current friends wouldn't wanna hang out because we're at seperate stages in life.

I finally decided to see if there was something out there that explained why my mother in law who is constantly talking about her day and what's going on with her coworkers and on the phone several times a day claimed to be and introvert. My search was fruitful. Apparently everyone claims to be an introvert now because they think the only criteria is that they need some alone time to recharge and are intelligent. Extroverts are now seen more as shallow and thoughtless. Now me, on the otherhand, I hate talking on the phone unless it's someone I haven't talked to in a while (aka my mom or sister) but even then I sometimes don't feel up to talking. I need alone time daily or else I'm more likely to become over stimulated to the point that if I don't get somewhere quiet and alone I feel like I'll implode. I do need some social interaction but even then I'll usually keep to myself while letting others talk. Needing some social interaction just means you're human. Needing some alone time just means you're human. Most people are extroverts. It's ok to be an extrovert, but if you're an extrovert and always claim to be an introvert you're unknowingly driving me insane.

Something I haven't told anyone else

I haven't told a whole lot of people that I'm pregnant and I'm constantly worried that I'm gonna lose the baby somehow. Not like stressing over it, I just know it could happen even though I'm 17 weeks along now. I think that's why I haven't told a lot of people. If I do and I lose it then when people ask "how that baby doing?" I'll have to tell them it died. And then they'll feel bad for me and try to be comforting. I just would prefer to deal with that on my own with my husband. I don't like the idea of people feeling bad for me and wanting to help in some way because they don't know the only way to help me with things like that is to just let me deal with it on my own.

One of my favorite things is how my husband smiles at me. It's fun to randomly do something silly just too see that cute grin that says he loves me and thinks I'm a nerd and that I'm cute

Found a golden tree snake in front of my in laws house! They have a mild venom, and this guy would do anything to avoid using it. What a nice snake A++ would stumble upon again.
