tnbc anniversary has been a success for me this year I finally got the jack squishmallow, a silly little pajama sweater/sock set thing, some more little decorations, one of the jack hoodies from the new ht collection AND managed to snag the new loungefly cameo bag ... getting thru it

#im ignoring rn how the hoodie is . stuck at a warehouse apparently #and idk when the bag'll get here i hear lots of conflicting stuff abt loungefly n their shipping. it says it shipped yesterday but hasnt ha #an update beyond 'label created' so 😭😭 hopefully it aint longer then like .... a week .#they had this jack and mayor snowglobe at walgreens i kinda regret not getting to continue my jack n mayor husbands joke #maybe one day ill have it i wanna go up to walgreens one more time before they put it all away cus when i went they didnt have a lot out ye #i had to grab the jack squishmallow tho bc ive been wanting jt for YEARS and he was the Last one it was like destiny

Remember: you're not being a Disney simp if you like Nightmare Before Christmas, or even a Tim Burton simp. Selick worked his ass off to make an awesome looking movie and Danny Elfman made an amazing timeless soundtrack. Burton drew up the character designs and premise - his only big talents, honestly - and rarely even visited the set, while Disney had so little faith and was so embarrassed by its "creepiness" at the time, they kept their branding OFF of it until they noticed it was a cult hit they could milk.

Wild and insane to me that I can say I don't really care for Jack and Sally's romance and people will immediately assume it means that I hate Sally. Like. No? They just only speak to one another like 3 times and Jack shows 0 signs of reciprocation until the very end of the film lol. I love Sally it's not her fault she was given an after thought of a romance arc ???

as an avid jack skellington plush purchaser why do all of their bowties absolutely suck. they're so thin and flimsy and become deformed if they're bent for like 5 seconds.. or just straight up fall off?? If I'm spending $50-70 on a BAB of him I expect his bowtie, one of the most iconic aspects of his design, to hold its shape!! would it cost so much just to make the material of it a lil more firm, or add like.. one.. extra stitch to it so it STAYS attached???

Was so on the fence abt getting this at first bc I didn't really understand it when I saw it one day at hot topic (esp for the price??? I mean the quality is super nice but hes $30+ at like every store) but ever since I did I haven't stopped thinking abt it so I found the cheapest one I could on ebay for $22 and I'm kinda... obsessed ... perhaps.. like.. it's a super nice jack plushie in general the zipper is just an extra silly little thing I like him so much!! Gonna be a new fav to display I think, esp bc I don't think a lot of ppl have got him

I’m so happy to tell you all that I’ve made great progress with my mental health!! To genuinely be able to say that I feel happy is so liberating and free! I know a lot of you are still in that dark place. I’m here to say that it does get better. Much better! I still have some tough days but progress is progress! Be kind and gentle to yourselves.
