Hello everyone! After months of writer's block I would finally like to announce the true launch of "season" one of Trick or Treat! (Formerly Shadow in the Moon at Night.)

It makes me so happy to announce this because I've finally picked myself up and made myself write and I am loving how it's turning out so far! I'm going to attempt to update regularly! Please enjoy the first arc of a long long story my friends <3

Next two covers of issues #4 and #5 of All Hail the Pumpkin King! ...Nooot too entirely sure what the hell's going on here, tbh. I assume Jack comes up with some flying costume/mechanism and Oogie has something to do with the uhhhh. giant Jack-o-'lantern?

Issue 4 releases on October 14th, issue 5 releases November 11th!

Getting a lot of James and the Giant Peach vibes...fitting to tie these Henry Selick movies together!

Not sure if you’ve been asked this before, but how do you imagine Halloween Town would approach recreating or reinterpreting horror content in today’s digital age? For example, how might they tackle internet-based horror, such as creepypastas, analog horror, or the world of horror gaming YouTubers who play titles like FNAF, Outlast, Resident Evil, etc., as a way of scaring in today's era?

I think I *have* been asked something like this some time ago..! Can't find the ask atm, but it's super interesting to think of Halloween Town adapting to the modern human world. It makes sense, they have access to the humans after all, and I wouldn't doubt some of the monsters/residents in HT would have the capable skills necessary to mimic or integrate the internet/digital horror into what they do.

As for, like. Imagining one of them starting up a horror YouTube series or something? That's not something that occurred to me, I know there's been some discussion of Halloween Town's age of technology but no so much the idea of them 'upgrading' it. I'd think it would turn into a Hotel Transylvania thing where you see all these old-timey Residents trying to navigate smart phones, lol. I think Jack and Sally might bring some tech stuff back and teach the town what they learned from the humans in Disneyland. I think there are some videos of Jack and Sally thinking people are 'trapped' in phones whenever they're asked to record a message for somebody.

Really fun stuff to think about..!
