So, I think I finally understand Feminism: everything is misogynistic because it either doesn't involve women, involves women too little, involves women with caricature bodies (big boobs/revealing clothing), involves women who are too boyish, or because some white male will find it sexually attractive. Something people need to realize:

1. Being white doesn’t make you “privileged” 2. Being cisgendered doesn’t make you “privileged” 3. Being white doesn’t exclude you from racial discrimination (also known as racism.) 4. Being cisgendered doesn’t exclude you from being bullied about your gender. 5. Being white and cisgendered is just a label, and neither are a bad thing.

If you want people to accept you for who you are, you have to start by accepting other people for who they are. Just by typing in “cisgender” into tumblr, I can get told by at least a few hundred blogs that I should die and I am the reason everything bad in the world has ever happened.

Here’s some facts for you:

1. I am white. 2. I have been bullied for being white, because the high school I went to was inner city. White was associated with “nerdy” “ugly” “lame” and basically any negative comment you can think of. 3. I am male. 4. I have been bullied for looking female although I am male. 5. I have been treated like shit since kindergarten by females. At first just for being male. Then for being shy. Then for being white, essentially. 6. I live in poverty.

Being white or cisgendered or both does not exclude you from anything. People will bully you no matter what. They just find a difference and pick on it. The answer to bullying and violence isn’t radicalism. The answer is exclusion. You don’t like me because I’m cisgendered? Good for you, you’re just as bad as the people you hate. You’re no better than the people that put you down. You’re just doing it to other people.

This is not a message to Transgendered people. This is not a message to cisgendered people. This is not a message to MRAs. This is not a message to feminists. This is not a message to women. This is not a message to men. Nor a message to any specific race. It is a message to everyone. The enemy here isn’t a group of people. The enemy is labeling. Don’t scope people out because of their beliefs. Don’t go around calling people “Transgendered” or “cisgendered” or “feminist” or “MRA” or whatever label. We’re all just people goddammit. Treat each other how you want to be treated.

Lip rings

Alright, I know Tumblr has at least a few hundred people with experience body-mod wise.

I got my lip pierced about 6 weeks ago. The artist replaced the studs with rings. In doing so, the piercing bled a little bit (he had to tug my lip a little to get the new piercings in), and has since felt a little agitated. I wipe my piercing with a cotton swab of salt water daily as well as mouth wash still. How long until this shit is done being an annoying little hoop in my mouth?

My brothers have muscular dystrophy. Because of this, they were picked on mercilessly on school, and beaten up on an almost daily basis. I think if people were more educated about the disease, maybe they wouldn't pick on someone for having a high pitch voice and being weak.

Why is asking about a woman's figure in a movie a sexist question? "Because only women get that question!" I'm sorry, but I believe male actors are very often asked how they built their muscle/figure, what workouts they used, etc. If they weren't I couldn't have looked up a shitton of movie star workouts with the touch of a few keys.
