oh, you've been traveling around? have you gone anywhere interesting? i'd suggest you watch my other movie that's out right now as well -- but you might not look at me the same again after having you watch it, just saying. but you're sweet, mate, and i love that you're another aussie in my corner! and of course, i'll gladly be in your corner as well! hey, you should be biased when it comes to your fur children, right? because i think layla is the best as well. your nash sounds a lot like my layla though too because she's a pretty chill dog as well for the most part. i'm sorry, but having heard plenty of your music, i'm just picturing what kind of lullaby that you'd end up writing, and honestly, i'm here for it. that's great that you have your ultimate comfort house, i feel the same way about my place in la and it is just easy to stay in and not face the world. i did get her the buttons, and i've been teaching her how to use them and she's so smart, mate. she's good at telling me when she wants treats and to go outside with the buttons -- and to be fun, i got one that says bitch, and she calls me a bitch a lot and i swear she's smiling so i think it's our little joke. or i'm a little bitch in her eyes, i don't know, either way it makes me laugh. oh, so many eyes on me because of euphoria and because i didn't play a nice guy, everyone thought i was a toxic prick too. not to mention all the objectifying i was dealing with too, shit i wasn't really used to it because i just used to always be thought of as the tall goofy guy. but yeah, layla helps me with all of that and now i don't get so anxious when all eyes are on me. which is good, since i feel like i'm everywhere lately. really? your music is so good though! and off your new album, i love how to stay with you. i like the term creatively spilling's, especially when it you write your music. i understand what you mean about living in la and being away from your family, and you feel kind of alone a lot of the time, even though you've got friends, it's just not the same as family. so i understand why you ended up buying a place in melbourne -- and honestly, i've thought about doing the same thing in brisbane. i do feel a lot at home with layla, but sometimes i just really miss my mum and my sisters. i miss my dad too, but i'll admit i'm a mum's boy. that's good that you're not completely bottling, and i'm glad that you've got writing to help you with that. and i can understand your point and your friend's point, though i know all too well what you mean by not wanting to bother people with these things. it's easy to not want to burden people with your problems, right? that's good that your family knows how to get you to talk, and it sounds like your dad is a lot like my mum to me, she can get me to spill what's on my mind too. || @sivanhqs
