A giant cake shaped like a dog has taken pride of place in Exeter city centre. In fact it's not about cakes, or dogs, but a stunt to get people talking about their mental health. It is all part of Mental Health Awareness Week, which runs until Saturday 22 May. It is the idea of Kate Shirazi who suffers from depression. She created the five feet tall black dog - which is often used as a way of describing how depression makes you feel. She hopes it will get people talking and is also handing out cakes to passers-by - covered in grey icing to reflect the gloom of the condition.
