Pulling her face from the ground, Latula begins spitting dirt out of her mouth. She wipes her hand across her face, blushing a vibrant teal and gives Porrim a half-hearted smile. She scratches the back of her neck and sits up on her knees.

“Yeah, I’m, like totally cool. I mean, yeah I’m okay! No, you don’t need to call life alert.” Her lips stick out in a pout and she stutters a little bit. “You, uh… Won’t tell anyone about this right?” She pulls down her glasses and gives her the best woofbeast eyes this world has ever known.

The only ones, actually, but that’s beside the point.

Putting her finger and thumb up to her lips, Porrim smirks slightly while making a zipping motion. "Your secret is safe with me." That, of course, was a lie. You were totally going to gossip with Damara about it later. The moment she finishes saying it, she's overcome with a feeling of overwhelming dizziness. Round pupils crossing and glow flickering slightly, she falls backwards onto her rear, mentally cursing herself for forgetting about that anon already. When the moment doesn't pass, she sighs, clutching her head. "Okay, I'm totally going to be gossiping about this with Damara." She says in a rush. And just like that, the dizzy spell is gone.

Shaking her head, the rainbow drinker pushes herself to her feet, holding out a hand to her friend and muttering a "Sorry".

Latula kicks some rad fuckin’ flips on her way to Porrim’s hive, letting the wind in her hair calm her down a little bit. She carries her magical, and very suddenly there, bag in one hand while shooting the virtual breeze on her mobilehusk with the other. Just as the foliage of Porrim’s hive comes into view, her mobile starts shaking and Troll Smash Mouth’s “All Star” begins to play. She makes a totally wicked wipeout and lands face-first into the dirt just outside.

She presses a button and it stops playing, but she just stays flat on the ground for a second or two, wondering where her life went wrong, hoping that she wouldn’t be seen in such an uncool position by her totally awesome friend. That would def suck.

She does not laugh at the sight she sees through the window of her hive. No, Porrim is far too mature for that. It was a mere snicker or 10, tops. Flicking on her glow to shed some light on her surroundings, she makes her way down to her door, only tripping a few times over scraps of fabric laying around the floor. It's hard being used to the bright light of the sun. It's hard and nobody understands.

Opening the door, she glides out, crouching by her fallen comrade and poking with a single finger.

"Latula? Are you okay? Do you want me to call Life Alert?"
