I was commissioned to make some rat ears for a friend :3

Vex is a bat/ shark protogen, and my first ever fursuit! 

 Holy crap this was an insane project and I'm so happy with it! I'm so proud of myself, too. I learned so many new skills for this, and worked with materials I've never used before! 

 I started designing the suit in May 2022. The head base is a 3D print I bought from Kaiborg Studios. The fur is from Howl Fabrics. In all, not including the numerous tools I had to buy, paint, multiple attempts with the visor tinting, etc.... I would make a conservative estimate that this suit cost me at least $1200 in materials. What I learned from making this myself, and the satisfaction I get from telling people I made this, is priceless. 

 Vex was finished a few days before and debuted at Further Confusion (FurCon) 2023. in San José, California. It was my very first convention! 

 Thanks to Erika, my love, for the help here and there, including programming the LED, wearing the head while I patterned the neck, and for being an amazing handler at the con. I love you <3
