Michael coughed, then blushed.

"Well then."

Clara grinned. “Alright.” Within seconds her skilled fingers unbuckled his belt and unbuttoned his jeans. She gripped the zipper to his jeans with her teeth. Keeping her eyes locked onto his she dragged it down.

Michael coughed, looking around nervously just in case one of Clara's people walked in. You could never tell. But he couldn't deny that when he looked down and locked eyes with her as she took his zipper down, that it wasn't one of the hottest things he had ever seen. He could feel the blood rushing, hardening, waiting for her.

Clara’s teeth worried her lower lip as she watched for Micheal anxiously. Arabella mumbled and snuggled into Clara’s stomach. Then Micheal entered the room and Clara’s eyes lit up. She nodded sheepishly, a huge smile barely being held back. Unbidden, her hand rested on her stomach. Slowly and carefully, Clara moved her sleeping daughter onto the couch next to her. As she moved to stand, Robert woke quickly seeming embarrassed that he fell asleep. Clara beamed at him and motioned towards Arabella. The older man nodded and scooped the girl up to put her to bed. He knew that Micheal and Clara needed to talk freely.

Michael nodded at Robert, and then he fairly jumped across the room, picking Clara up in a spinning hug. He kissed her once, then again, then again, and just kept kissing her, unable to speak because he was so happy. Still in his arms, he moved them so he could sit down, dizzy from the spinning. He pressed his forehead against hers, looking into her eyes. She was always so beautiful. He had never seen her in any way that made her not, even when she woke up cranky and demanded coffee. When she had been pregnant with Arabella, she had fairly started to glow at one point, and he couldn't wait to see that again. He kissed her again, his smile stretching as wide as it could.

Clara gently stroked Arabella’s hair as she hummed a soft lullaby. It seemed as though the lullaby was doing more to relax Robert than her daughter. The older man was asleep next to the fire, obviously comfortable enough to let his guard down. Arabella was sucking on her fingers and falling asleep on Clara’s lap.

The red haired woman waited for the cry of surprise that she knew would come from her husband when he discovered the positive pregnancy test. She waited, and waited, and waited, but it never came and Clara was left gnawing on her lip. Several thoughts ran through her head, most were along the lines of: ‘He doesn’t want another kid…’ or ‘Oh god, he’s mad at me…” She swallowed thickly and watched the hallway warily.

Michael finished shaving, looking at himself in the mirror. He hated shaving. He looked like a moron without any kind of facial hair, so Clara would just have to deal with him having a goatee. It was bad enough she told him he had to shave, he didn't tell her anything like that about her body. But he did it for her anyways. He sighed and started looking for whatever he had dropped. He could barely see it behind the makeup table, and he reached for it. As he grabbed it, he jerked back, banging his head into the table, and cursing, came out only to bang his head again into the bottom of their sink counter.

He sat down hard on his ass, blinking in pain as he waited for his vision to stop swimming so he could see whatever he was holding. When it finally did, he looked at what looked like a pregnancy test. Was she.... Could she.... Clara was pregnant again? Michael stood quietly, sneaking down the hallway. He didn't want to shout and wake up Arabella, so instead he mouthed the words to Clara.

'You're pregnant again?'

Clara rolled her eyes, managing to convey the most extreme of annoyance with just a look. “I need you to go-” She grit her teeth once more. “die in a hole.” She gripped his shirt and hunched forward.

He smiled. If she was being mean to him, she was fine. He moved her gripping hand from his shirt to his own hand, and then regretted it as she squeezed with intent to break his fingers. Luckily, she didn't, and he managed to hold on through it.

"I'm here with you baby." He leaned his knee on the bed, wrapping an arm around her shoulder in case she needed to be moved or anything. "I've got you. No matter what happens."

He wished for a moment he had learned Spanish, he had no idea what Jorge was saying. But since he didn't look panicked, it had to be alright. Or he just had a really good poker face. Michael hoped it was the first thing.

Clara’s smile only widened as Micheal leaned against her. She placed one hand on his shoulder as she watched their daughter dance. She made a small face when his beard scratched her hand, that needed to go. But she would take care of that soon enough. Arabella stopped suddenly and plopped onto the floor, both dizzy and tired. The little girl yawned and crawled onto Clara’s lap. She shook her head fondly.

"Well seems like Bella-baby is settled for now," She reached over the side of the couch and grabbed the shaving kit she’d gotten for Micheal. It was an expensive and new model, the kind that Robert used. It would take care of that ghastly beard soon enough, other wise Clara would be forced to enforce the no sex rule. "Now go shave." She grinned and stroked Arabella’s hair. She was definitely looking forward to his reaction when he saw the second present on the counter in the bathroom.

Michael looked down at the razor. Then at her. Then he glared. He still took the kit, but he didn't go anywhere yet.

"You know, I don't push my standards of beauty and all that on you." He raised an eyebrow at her, then scratched his face. She was so damn pushy, but he did love her. He sighed as he stood up. He had been planning to shave once the winter was over in the first place, but he guessed he'd have to do it now. When it was ten degrees outside. And his face would freeze. The things he did for love.

He walked into the bathroom, cursing as he banged his toe on the door frame, reaching for the counter as he winced in pain. He felt something against his fingers fall off the counter then skitter across the floor. He flipped the light on, looking for whatever had fallen, but couldn't see anything. He shrugged as he started to fill up the sink and hit the button on the shaving cream can. He'd look for it later.

Clara tried to breathe through the pain, she really did. But it hurt so much and even though Jorge was a huge help, she just wanted to cry. She wanted Micheal as well, but she couldnt tell if it was to kill him or castrate him. She groaned loudly and swore in several languages as Jorge directed her breathing. The only thing that gave away his calm demeanor was the fact that all his orders were in Spanish. Clara heaved a breath and screwed her eyes shut as a particularly painful contraction washed over her. She could do this. She could do this. She could do this. Where was Micheal? She gripped the bed and panted as the pain washed away, she tensed remembering that it would be back with a vengeance in only a moment.

He burst through the door, running through her rooms until he found her in the back. He almost hit his knees and slide, but stayed on his feet until he was right next to her. He didn't know what she'd want. Hold his hand, strangle him, whatever it took. He was going to be here for her. He kissed her forehead, hating to see the look of pain in her eyes.

"What do you need me to do? Anythin'?"

Clara smiled and rubbed her nose against his, not minding the cold skin. “Of course I am.” Arabella stood up and ran to Micheal.

"Papa!" She clung to his leg with the strength that only a three year old could have. "Papa!" Clara laughed and brought her feet onto the couch. She leaned over to the coffee table and grabbed her water with a small knowing smile on her lips. Her hand unconsciously rested on her stomach and she licked her lips.

Michael bent over and picked up his little girl, who laughed and squealed at how cold his hands and nose were. He growled like a bear, fake biting at her neck and fingers. She squealed and laughed some more. He spun with her in his arms, laughing at how loud she squealed more and laughed louder. He finally set her down, feeling a little dizzy.

"Gonna make Daddy fall if we keep doin' that lil' princess."

He sat down on the floor in front of Clara, leaning back against her. It was nice to be here. The mansion was also nice, but this felt... cozier? Smaller. More family like. The mansion could be cold. Not with her in his arms of course, but it was just so damn big. He watched Arabella dance around, something to a beat that only she could hear.
