okay so I never actually put a label on his ethnicity until I saw this question LOL, but I would say yes! when it came to designing a main character and thinking about the types of struggles they go through, it felt most natural to use my own life as reference. I'm not a good writer so this was my cheat code 😂 as a wasian person myself I totally understand feeling like you don't belong, which is something knight goes through. so even though I never explicitly decided he was wasian - why the hell not, let's make it official now LOL
