After her mornin workout Nova decided to take a walk along the beach. Inhaling the fresh air she exhaled slowly. Stopping she looked out into the water as she turned her headphones up.
Sitting on the sand Jai adjusts her sunglasses and lays back down on her beach blanket taking in few deep breaths.
“ Sup people….”
Jai blinks a few times and wonders who your talking to.
“HELLO SHORT PERSON!”
“Don’t be rude.” Jai rolls her eyes, “You were the one talking to themselves.”
“What are you doing?”
“Cooking dinner. What are you doing?”

Adjusting her sunglasses Nova walked out of the hospital. She was certainly glad the weekend was here. Although she knew they could call her in at any random time she was going to enjoy the time she spent away from work. Making her down the street she walked into a nearby Starbucks to refuel some energy.
“Forgetting I’m not with all the earth stuff too much and why don’t you just cater if it’s that much of a hassle .”
“My president requested I cook and bake, so show my dedication.” Jai places her order and make sure her lace is placed correctly on her head. “You going to that seminar tomorrow?”
“Yeah I’m going to the seminar. I’m one of the speakers for it, so I have to be there. Are you going ?” Nova asked taking a sip of her latte
“Yes I’m going and I’m going to be a speaker too.” Jai raises her brow and takes a sip of her drink.
“That’s going to be interesting” Nova chuckled finishing her latte
“You can say I’m only speaking to promote my business and talk.” Jai shrugs her shoulders and sets her drink down.

“im throwing a party for my soror sisters. pretty in pink, gorgeous in green.”
“Oh that sounds like fun. What sorority are you in ?”
“I just said it...nevermind. AKA...try cooking for over 100 people alone, it’s not that fun.”

Growing up in Powell, Ohio jai’nique always knew what she wanted from life. Fashion as always been the only thing she wanted to do, but when she was at a young age Jai became pregnant and didn’t let that be the reason why she wasn’t going to be successful. She joined the Epsilon Chapter of the Alpha Kappa Alpha and definitely made a mark at her school. She participated in school events and was even on the student council. Jai’s drive had her acceed all her goals, after graduating from Bowie State University in Bowie, Maryland and obtaining her degree in Lausenschlange Medicine and Fashion. She moved back home and picked up a small part-time job in the mall working in a men’s clothing store.
But Jai wanted more, Jai’nique grew up in a pretty large family that was well known in the community. Her mother worked as an real estate agent and her father worked in probation. She has a older brother and sister named Monty and Jayci. Her family is very much into pro human rights, and every year they throw an annual charity events spreading awareness.
Akeem decided to play hooky from work today. He was tired, and honestly he just didn’t feel like going in. He remembered yesterday events, and he knew there were a few people who were shocked at what happened. It didn’t matter to him, and he thought it was actually funny. People kept coming by and staring at him, but it was mostly the white people and that was what became annoying. He was sitting about to light his blunt.
Jai steps out from her truck and fixed her outfit before crossing the street and headed into the grocery store for the party she was throwing tonight, She only had so much time left to cook for over 100 people. She ran into the store wearing her heels and grab a carriage.

“Yeah I know, I told you the door was unlocked. Your hand mad cold.” Jai laughed and then rubbed her hand against her thigh.
“But you guys were ready when you conceiced?” She looks at you confused “excuse me if Im being rude but my grandparents just always told me that a child is result of true love and true live was to be sealed with marriage”
“Well it’s not always that way. He just wanted the kid, not an commitment.” Jai sighs and frowns, “Your grandparents seem very smart but not everyone shares that intelligence.”
“Yeah I guess so” she gets up from her seat closing her notebook “I think I’ll get me a pet”
“You should. They are really great companions.”

She chuckles to herself the thought of how the puppy woyld taste croasing her kind but she shakes it off “you kust have a real attachment to it. Thats beautiful”
“I do it’s my daughters dog, but it’s more mine than her. Got him when I was at a low point.” Jai kisses him on top of his head and smiles.
Her heart melts at the mention of her daughter she always wanted a family since the one she grew up with were for lack of better words scared of her. But she wanted kids and a husband of her own “awww you are married?”
Jai begins to laugh hard and holds her chest, “No..I’m not.” She eventually calms down and exhales heavy. “My child's father isn’t ready to take that step and I’m not waiting for him to be ready.”
