“Hey!____? Wait up” the boy slowly jogged towards your way. It was end of school and both of you walk home in the same direction. Jongkook, you’re so slow.“ You laughed at him, with his pouty face. “C'mon, I’m starving!.” You begged and started walking.
You and Jongkook have known each other for a long time, since fifth grade. Very close in contact and always rely on one another. Both of you developed feelings for each other. Either of you didn’t have the courage to say something about it because fear filled both of you guys up. Fear to lose each other. Fear of rejection. Fear of not feeling the same way.
“Oh kookie!? We should go eat at Sonsoo Food fusion Restaurant! It’s new and they opened up yesterday!! cmon!” You grabbed his hand and dragged him over to the restaurant. “Why haven’t I heard about this place? ” he laughed as he stood there looking at the nice building in front of him. You glazed at him, admiring his facial features. “I don’t know. I guess I pay attention on my phone to much and you know how I am with café’s and restaurants” you shrugged, grinning to your self. “Well…what we waiting for, let’s get on eatin!”
After being seated and asked what you both wanted for refreshments. Both of you started talking endlessly until your meals came through. Enjoying each other’s company until he spoke up. “Hey! ____!? Why don’t we go somewhere after this? I have something in mind” he suggested, taking another bite of his food. “Okay, but where? It’s getting kinda dar-” you were about to state something until he interrupted. “Shh-sh… Just trust me on this” he smiles. “Alright fine. But I have to study” you pouted. “don’t worry” he added.
Finishing the food, both of you tapped your stomachs to feeling full. “Uh I’m so full but it was so good!” You exaggerated the ‘oo’ in good. “For sure I’m coming back” you added and chuckled. “Definitely!” He yelled. “Ya! Why are you yelling!?” You stated, then smiled. In response, he shrugged.
On the way to where ever JongKook was bringing you, talking was the thing that occupied for the both of you. Laughing and teasing was the only entertainment as well.
Stopping in front of a park, your eyebrows moved in confusion. “ hold on” he grabbed your hand and pulled you on the top of the hill. Remembering the park that you both played at. “Why we on the hill that we call ‘no mans land’?” You both laughed. Looking at each other’s eyes for a while then he brought his finger to your chin, moving it to the side to see the most prettiest sunset in a long time. You were in awe as you watched the sunset as JongKook, just smiled because his view is the most beautiful girl that he adores.
“____?” He called your name, making you look at him. “Mm?” You say. Nothing comes out his mouth for couple of minutes. “ya! Malhae” (ya! Say it/speak). He turned to look at you and took a deep breath. “ ____? I’m gonna say something and I don’t want to hear anything but a simple nod. Okay?” He says, in worry, fear, who knows. All you did was nod as confusion took over you. “I- I l-” he trailed off, then be tried to speak again but he suddenly felt lips on his. You pulled back and looked up at him, “because I do too” you both smiled and went in for another kiss.
