Part her hated that she moved on so quickly after he had moved away, as she admitted being alone was hard for her, but it had been a long while since there was anyone in her life, romantically, and she found a way to make herself happy, but seeing him she knew that it was fate almost, it was right, so doing this, it felt right, it was right. She was with Jake again. Leaning into him as they walked, she bit her lip, keeping silent for a few minutes, scared to ruin the moment, but her hand found it’s spot in his back pocket. As they neared her house, she couldn’t help but feel excitement rising. Biting her lip, she lead him towards the back garage door and up the stairs towards the attic. Staring at him for a moment she pushed opened the door to the mini attic apartment her dad had setup. “My room’s changed a bit, it’s up her now, we’ll have privacy,” she whispered. Opening the door, she backed in slowly, tugging her jacket off dropping it to the floor with her purse. Sitting on her bed, she scooted back, kicking her boots off.
Jake couldn’t even count the amount of times his sister had asked him if he’d ever get back with Ariel. It had to be at least twice a day. As he walked back to her house with her, he couldn’t was it till he could tell her he was. He knew she’d be excited. Jake nodded as they walked up to the attic. “Privacy is good,” he replied softly, following her inside and smiling as he looked around the room before training his eyes back on her.
