Hey friends - So, this is my goodbye lol.

It truly breaks my heart to have to say goodbye to you all. God, i love my ships. I really do.

However - I’m not happy about being part of a roleplay where members are expected to keep to rules that mods don’t follow. 

Apparently the “mod activity rule” is two weeks, but when characters go over this two weeks....... Literally nothing happens. If someone nears three weeks of being inactive, literally nothing happens. Not much of a rule that, is it? We do not stan character hoarding in this house.

While roleplayers are expected to be active across all their characters, mods will pick up new characters left right and centre regardless of how active they are on their other characters.

While I was a mod, we had an anon pointing out mod character hoarding. & Instead of taking it on board and learning from it, people literally wanted to track the IP address of the person who sent it. Instead of considering that.... maybe they have a point?

Accountability is incredibly important when it comes to people in positions of power and unfortunately it just feels like the mods have none. Maybe it’s the inner Willow in me, but this is me making my stand. I’ve tried multiple times to raise this issue of mods seeing themselves as above roleplay rules, but all have failed.

So yeah. That’s basically it. That’s the core reason why I’m leaving.

Hearing him she smiled warmly towards him. “Thank you. I’m sure there is too. The timing just has to be right, and it’ll fall into place. I’m not in much of a race for that though, rushing it just doesn’t make it feel .. fairy tale.” Nodding softly she looked down. “It’s very cruel, but the worse you go though, the brighter the days I like to think.. and hope.” 

“Don’t rush it, no,” Toulouse quickly commented, shaking his head. “Definitely do not rush. Let everything happen in it’s own time.” He tucked his hands into his pockets. “Well -- Don’t forget that. But I should probably get back to work now.”

Hestia watched him and laughed softly. “No no.. I never thought that for a second! It’s clear to see you’re very happy in your relationship and how it came about.” she stated with a soft laugh. “I agree.. I mean.. I’ve never really had the experience with it.. but that’s how I would want things to happy. on their own terms.” 

“Everything will work out for you eventually,” Toulouse smiled and nodded. “You’re sweet. I’ve every faith that there’s someone for you. The world is cruel so you might have to wait a little, but he’s there.”

“Bonjour Toulouse,” she returned his smile, turning to face him. “I have no complaints. How about you, enjoying the pretentiousness of this party?”

He laughed and shook his head. “I’m enjoying myself,” Toulouse leant against the table. “Everyone here is lovely.” Tully raised an eyebrow in her direction. “Too boring for you?”

“This is important to you.  Art and these social events are a big part of your life.  I should go with you to a few of these things.  If I really don’t like it this will be the only one I won’t go to more.  I can manage this, might make a bit of a fool of myself not exactly knowing what people are talking about but I’ll be fine.  You aren’t forcing me to do this.  I want to go,” Wendy said kissing his cheek.

A smile crept across his face as Wendy spoke. As she pressed a kiss to his cheek, he slid an arm around her waist. “I hope you know how incredible you are,” Toulouse grinned down at her. “I’m sure you’ll do amazingly,” He said warmly. The next thing he knew, the elevator came to a stop. “If you need a break at any point, just -- Text me.”

“Lying not mentioning entire sides of the family, keeping rather important secrets when it comes to money and other things that get passed down.  Probably overreacting a bit but this is just too much, too much new information at once.”

He sighed and nodded. “Ah, secrets,” Toulouse forced a small smile. “Secrets certainly do cause quite the issue.” He knew all too well. “I’m sorry.”

Hestia nodded softly. “Oh no.. I’m sorry someone put that pressure on you. It’s never something that should .. be pushed. Though from the way you speak of your girlfriend I think it was just two natural puzzle pieces falling together at the right time.” She smiled towards him. “But I agree.. love doesn’t have to come from a special someone, a group works just as nicely.” 

“Oh well yes. I’m not saying that I don’t want to be in a relationship at all,” Toulouse was quick to jump and explain. “I just don’t agree with constantly pushing single people to date. When it happens, it’ll happen. And it happened,” He tucked his hands into his pockets as he shrugged. “Friends and family are definitely just as important relationships.”

Where else would the boys be meeting than at their normal place in their normal booth? Toulouse sat down with a huff. This time, he was the one a couple of minutes late. “I’m so sorry,” He rolled his eyes. “Work is absolutely being a pain at the minute. They’re driving me insane.” || @ofarpeggios

The art scene meant everything to Toulouse. It played a massive role in his life. So when he’d invited Wendy to join him at one of his many usual art social events, he knew this could be important in terms of their relationship. What if she hated it all? What if she hated the people? Or, what if it was the opposite? What if she thrived as much as he did? They were at that point where it was very possible things might come to light that show they’re not meant to last. With these thoughts running through his mind, he pressed a kiss to the side of Wendy’s head. They were in an elevator up to the loft apartment where this evening’s occasion was being held. “You know that you don’t have to do this,” Toulouse said gently, eyes scanning her face. “It could be quite overwhelming. I don’t want to be forcing you into this.” || @dcrlingbird

Toulouse smiled and waved the woman goodbye. It was another artsy party - The kind of atmosphere Toulouse really thrived on. There was no time he ever felt more alive. After bidding his companion goodbye, Tully turned on his heel slowly to survey who else was left over. There was one familiar face. “Bonjour Abigail,” Toulouse smiled as he walked over to the brunette. “How are you doing?”  || @giftofthegabble

Hestia nodded toward shim. “I’m sure it will be. Hm? Oh, no.” She stated with a small laugh shaking her curls. “I have wonderful friends, and family though. That’s good enough for now. “ 

“That sounds lovely though,” A small smile rested on Tully’s face. “There’s absolutely nothing wrong with just being by yourself and appreciating your family and friends. I was told time and time again while I was single that I had to find someone and settle down, but I couldn’t disagree more.”

Toulouse’s eyebrows remained raised before he eventually just nodded. “That -- That is fair. What issues are they causing?”

“I won’t get in the way, I promise.  I’ll find bookstores or museums or somewhere else to go while you work,” Wendy promised.  “A trip away from New York sounds so nice right now especially somewhere nice and warm.  A tropical beach sounds lovely compared to the rain and snow,” she said sighing as she pictured a beach and the warm sun.  “I have a feeling if you taught me we’d get distracted very easily and I’d know more non-family friendly words than useful ones.”

“I know you wouldn’t try to distract me,” Toulouse chuckled, resting her head against hers. “I just know I’d end up getting very distracted anyway,” He pressed a kiss to the side of her temple. “I’ll look into some stuff. We’ll go on a small trip away. My treat,” Then he quickly lifted his head up, gasping. “Wendy Moira Angela Darling,” Toulouse exclaimed. “What on earth are you trying to suggest? I am a very professional young man. I wouldn’t dare teach you anything but family friendly words.” As he teased, he pressed a couple of kisses along the side of her face.

Listening to him she just smiled softly his direction. “Well, hold on to that, alright? Because it sounds like the two of you have something very special.” 

“Thank you,” Toulouse said, changing his stance as he did so. “I certainly hope it is that way,” He said with a grin before raising his eyebrows. “What about yourself? Do you have anyone?”

“I’m not usually one for poor decisions,” she admitted. “Usually because I’m terrified of the outcome. Or that God will strike me down.” She furrowed her brows. “I suppose I should thank you from stopping any terrible outcomes that could have come from that.”

Toulouse tilted his head, a gentle smile on his face as she spoke. “It’s no problem,” He said. “I’m all for broadening horizons and trying new things, but sometimes there are reasons you haven’t done some things.” A light laugh escaped his lips.
