Mine to Hold | Jasper
Jasper smiled and rested his head on top of Jak's head, "You're warm." He retorted, a chuckle as he did. Jasper's eyes slowly shut then opened continuously for a brief moment. "You tired?" He asked, Jasper had completely forgotten what is was like to be tired. Before they lived together, he would remember just laying there watching t.v, reading, surfing the internet, going out. No matter what, he wouldn't lose energy, he wouldn't feel sleepy; the feeling was odd until he just got used to it. Jasper brought his attention back to Jak and smiled, moving his arm forward and back in a sort of comfort gesture.
Jak smiled, tilting his head up slightly as he shifted the rest of his body closer to Jasper's. "A little.." he admitted with a shrug, looking back up at Jasper as he did so. It was funny, how the connection between two people could evolve into something so different in such a short amount of time. Only a couple of months ago, intimacy between the two of them came with no edge of romance or affection. There simply was no laying together with thoughts of nothing further commencing, or sharing body heat in a perfectly innocent way. Change was a constant, always. But in their case specifically, it was something Jak was comfortable with. He was quiet for a moment, thoughtful as he looked over Jasper's expression. "...How did this happen?" he wondered aloud, a small laugh in his voice. The more he thought about it, the more momentarily amused he felt.

Jasper laid in bed his attention fully on the television that provided a dull light around the big dark room. He smirked as he saw Jak in his well, their room. Jasper lifted the sheets allowing Jak to join him. He smiled and chuckled when the question of what he was watching came from Jak. "A Thousand ways to die...You know it's funny; they don't add vampire bite on here." A smirk was plastered on his face and he turned his attention to Jak. "Should I call and complain?" he asked jokingly, lifting his arm and wrapping it around jak.
Jak looked away from the TV once Jasper named the title, still on the brink of small laughter. He grinned, shifting down finally to lay beside him. "Not sure how the producers might react to that." he laughed softly, letting Jasper wrap his arm around him. It took him only a short moment to realize that the television was uninteresting to him; that wasn't why he'd gotten up, after all. He turned onto his side toward Jasper, leaning forward and resting his forehead against his chest and inhaling slowly. "You're comfortable." he spoke, his speech muffled by the material of Jasper's shirt. He closed his eyes and brought his arm up, lazily wrapping it over Jasper's side as he quieted down completely. He had developed a sort of habit of doing just this more recently, since he'd moved in and Jasper was always in reach. It'd become a sort of relaxing thing that he did whether he was feeling stressed or perfectly content.

Jak finally shut the laptop and willed himself to move from his comfortable spot on the floor beside the heater. The living room was dark, pitch black almost, and he had to take special care to step around the coffee table and other items scattered around the floor beside it. The two boys hadn't exactly done too well of a job housekeeping since Jak had moved in. Clothes laid strewn across the floor, as picking them up had become a hopeless cause; they'd just be removed and discarded again. The kitchenette was a mess, though Jak took it upon himself to keep up with the dishes, as he was the one actually consuming the food. All in all, it was just cluttered, not so much filthy. But it certainly was different from his home, without someone like Ichabod to clean up all of the time. A refreshing different.
Jak finally made his way over to the bedroom door, tripping slightly along the way. "Ow." he hissed, turning the knob and heading inside. He brought his hand up and moved the hair from his face, still slightly damp from the shower he'd taken just earlier. He smiled over at Jasper and made his way over, climbing into the bed on his side. He stayed sitting, stretching his legs out and glancing at the TV. "...What are you watching?" he chuckled, his eyebrows slightly furrowed in confusion.
then what're you waiting for? I'm getting cold in this big empty bed.
Just a sec.
You saw me at my worst, I want the chance for you to see me at my best.
ooc; Peaches, clicky.~
Come lay with me, please?
I can do that.
I miss my sexy boyfriend.
...I'm sitting in the living room, Jasper.
Of course.
Good to have you back.
I hope you mean that.
Congratulations.
Thanks.
