I spent all night climbing the same sandy cliff that all roads lead to the foot of. The first time I came to it it was solid enough and I got to the top and pulled myself over the edge without much trouble and continued down the path to a house or a church that was very large and full of people. Every time I left the building I would end up back at the cliff and it was taller and steeper and looser than before until I couldn't make it over the crest because it crumbled away when I touched it. I could feel the sand sliding away under my hands and feet and there was nothing firm to grab. I looked over my shoulder at the ground and it was so far and so directly below me that I knew once I lost hold I would drop all the way down. I was trapped at the top of the cliff until someone heard me shouting and pulled me over the edge. I have this recurring companion (I think he might be a demon or a spector because sometimes other characters talk about how he's not from around here or ask how I know him.) and it was him who finally pulled me over the edge and woke me up.

TIP: Here’s an easy way to make veins using red cotton or wool. This technique has been around for many years but I’ve never seen anyone use it directly on skin. Pull some red wool apart so you see the individual fibers. Stick them down to your skin with prosaide or latex. Use a needle to adjust the shape while the glue is still wet. I made a quick infected zombie bite using this technique but you could use it anywhere.
