AU in which after Justin is fired from Wiztech, he and Alex start living together while he finishes graduate school and she opens an art gallery in New York. To celebrate the success of her gallery and him finishing school and accepting a teaching position at the university, they take a trip to Italy.

Jerry and Theresa want to keep them apart, so they decide to send Alex away (she IS the family scapegoat after all). The two siblings are miserable without each other, until one day, Alex gets an idea to use their dream helmets. Now they spare any moment they can to get together whenever they are asleep, going on all the dates they could only ever dream of.

Aww what a fun ask to receive, thanks for stopping by!! XD You know, the only thing that really comes to mind is the old "Because It's You And I: A Justin/Alex Manifesto" by campfiredreams on livejournal from back in the day. It's not quiiiite a comprehensive list of shippable moments, but pretty gosh darn close! Part 2 of the manifesto kind of ends up listing most of their shippable moments as reasons for "why they work", so it's nearly a full list in that sense!

In a perfect world, season 3 of wbwp would be Justin working himself to the bone trying to keep up with his responsibilities while trying to get Alex back and once we get the finale where they succeed, we'd acknowledge the movie for the first time in a single perfect reference — "Told you I'd never leave you."

However, we live in reality and that will never happen because as implied as their codependency is and as rich as the text offered by accident becomes... they're not risking it.

i like in Jalex fanfictions where Alex worries that she didn't really 'set the world 100% right' when her and Justin get closer in season 3/post movie. also the theme where Justin is the only person besides Alex to really remember how traumatic that entire plot was. Alsoooo when Alex and/or Justin start to feel more romantic feelings for the other in the rainforest because they're losing their memories. I love the WOWP movie so so much for all the scenarios that could be created with it
