What is your origin story, memory of the first time you hung out with Jalen, and then later Mikal, and sorta, whatās your early moments that you remember of this friendship?
[Laughs] Uh, I hated Jalen. I thought he was a, a um, yāknow one of them annoying 5-star recruits that come in entitled. Uhā¦ yāknow, unfortunately he was the opposite and we sparked a friendship and weāre still friends to this day, but, umā

Yeah, yeah, yeah, we still keep in touch. But uh, thatās what my thought process was. I hated him to start, I hated him during his visit, uh, probably the beginning of his freshman year I hated him. Um, āKalā¦ āKal was the same way. I hated him too. Uh, he came in, we obviously played, yāknow, similar positions, especially in college, and, uh, he was justā¦ He was weaker, more frail than I was so he would grab me and I hated it. Um, so. Obviously love those guys now but, yeah. Iā I didnāt reallyā

Was there a roadtrip? Nah, um. I think I lived with Jalen his sophomore year, uh, I think it was his sophomore year, uh. And we just happened to become, yāknow, close just with that situation. Uh, he was still extremely annoying but I got to be able to tolerate the annoyingness a little bit more because I had to deal with it every single day. Um, āKalā¦ [laughs] āKal, I kinda tormented āKal a little bit as like an older guy. Um, I think there was one time I texted him after I like threw him to the ground at one practice so I texted him after, I was like āYo, you good?ā And like, yāknow, we hashed it out then and, um, yāknow, weāve been cool since.
