Why thank you. I mean really I’d love to see Voldemort getting upset over the fact that we fucked up his name. Just spend the entire time, “Valdermart? That’s such a weird name, what type of dark lord re you can’t even come up with a decent name.”

She brushed a hand through her hair. “I’m not on anything,” she insisted. She wasn’t, really. Nothing she wasn’t supposed to. Not right now.
She could feel it draining. Feel herself deflating.
"I’m fine, man. I’ll just…I’m just gonna walk home, now, okay?" She scratched the back of her neck a little too harsh and erratically. "I’m going, okay? I’m going. It’s fine."
She turned away and began to walk in a panic. She shouldn’t have said that. She shouldn’t have…asked that. Not to someone calling her miss. The only people who called her miss were people who wanted something. Who wanted her…different. Rehab nurses tired of her tantrums. Therapists who pretended to care.
"I’m fine…" she muttered.
His brow furrowed as she scratched her neck. She could hurt herself like that-- he'd seen addicts who'd claw at their skin in a vain attempt to relieve the buildup of pressure, anything to make the need go away.
This wasn't just his job. She-- she could die if he left her alone. Tonight, the next... whether it was from drugs, or god knows what else.
He caught up to her and turned her towards him in a gentle but firm grip. He needed to make her understand.
"Please," he said, looking into her eyes, trying to make her see reason, "let me help you."
Yeah, absolutely. Oh? How come?
Model, yes. Actress, no. You think I should expand my horizons?
Hmm, well. Privacy, mostly. I sure wouldn't want the paparazzi following me around while I'm having breakfast. *coughs and glances at another table*

Shh! Don't tell your daddy this but I think he's hoping you'll be full and won't want a cupcake anymore. So if you really want that cupcake then you should eat your noodles, even if you don't like them.
James's one and only serious relationship
...started in his mid-twenties and lasted for over four years. The end of it was the end of his social life-- he cut off contact with his friends, immersed himself in work for months... before his life changed for good when his sister OD'ed.
James's Apartment
When he moved to America under a false identity, James didn't have many options. Luckily, he and his sister managed to snag this apartment in a pleasant-enough neighborhood in downtown Manhattan. It's small, and nowhere near as luxurious as the flat he kept in London, but he keeps it tidy and his sister is there waiting for him when he comes home from work. It's home.
(His sister's got a boyfriend now, though. And the only bed in the place is the folding-out couch.
He's thinking of moving out.)

Ah, we meet again. I must admit, I didn't think you'd be too keen on talking considering how we met. But we bump into each other quite a lot, don't we?
If I were Harry Potter I would have addressed Voldemort as “Tim Riddle.” He’d be like “IT’S TOM RIDDLE. ALSO, IT’S NOT TOM RIDDLE, IT’S VOLDEMORT.” Ahahaha classic Tim.

I’d rather not talk about the scandal. It’s not something I like talking about. Relationships are a good one, let’s see. I have a great relationship with my parents, once they got over the fact that I became a librarian and changed my last name. My sister is a little firecracker, and probably the most adventurous out of us all. We have a good relationship too. My brother and I, though, are just now starting to have a better relationship. We just never really got along, but I’m not really sure why. Probably just a sibling thing. I’m great friends with Estee Emeralds, the actress. She’s like a sister to me. Um, I’ve been hanging out with the Governor’s daughter. She’s pretty great too. We have close personalities, so each time we hang out it’s like a new adventure.
I’ve read up on that a little bit. It’s a really fascinating subject. Why’d you move here, then? That job sounds pretty amazing.
Miss Emeralds and... Miss Wilde, right? I recall... I've met both of them in passing. I don't think I made a very good impression. *laughs* What was your childhood like?
It is, isn't it? I was interested in it since I was a child-- how the Solutions worked, how the mind could be... aided or manipulated through the use of certain drugs. It was fulfilling work for a long time. I believed I was doing a lot of good, but-- *lips quirk into a small smile* There was a-- a conflict of interest, you could say.
