The Office S06E02 ⢠The Meeting (Deleted Scene)
Hey, good luck.
I'm wearing the tennis bracelet that Jim gave Pam for Christmas. And I loved this detail. Phil Shay got it out for this episode. He kept all of my jewelry in a little box and whenever there was a fancy event Pam would wear her tennis bracelet. -JennaÂ

All of the times Jim Halpert ignored work to go flirt with the receptionist

The boat was actually Plan C, the church was Plan B and Plan A was marrying her a long, long time ago. Pretty much the day I met her.

John Krasinski as Jim Fucking Halpert in the episode Initiation (S3E05) of The Office.
The Dundies are held at a fictitious restaurant called Louis Volpe, where the breadsticks apparently taste like crack. The exterior scenes, when weâre all out in the parking lot, and the establishing shots were filmed at Baroneâs Restaurant in Valley Glen, CaliforniaâŚ..Now, the interior for The Dundies was not filmed at Baroneâs Restaurant. It was a set that we built over on our warehouse stages. Randy even sent us a blueprint of Michael Gallenbergâs design. It is so elaborate. -Jenna

So, yeah, John Krasinski. Man, why he didnât win an Emmy, why you didnât, why the whole freaking cast didnât win more awards because the show is delivering right here. Ken shared on the DVD commentary and note that he gave John for this scene, and I thought it was great. And I want you guys to hear it.Â
Ken Kwapis The one thing I told John to remember is that over the course of this series, heâs developed a relationship with the documentary camera operator. And so when John emerges from the room to make the call to Dwight, something about seeing his pal, the film- the cameraman kind of suddenly got him very choked up.Â
Paul Lieberstein Wow, what a great note.Â
Jennifer Celotta He had told me this look.Â
Ken Kwapis Because we debated whether or not he should be so wrapped up in the moment that he should ignore the camera. But in fact, it was the opposite.Â
Jennifer Celotta The look right there that look, it was.Â
Ken Kwapis It was almost like, you know, the cameraman has been sharing so much of whatâs going on with Jim that, you know, that it became very important to acknowledge him here.Â
So the look he is talking about happens at 20 minutes, 50 seconds. And you guys know these moments in your life where youâre feeling all of this emotion and then you see a good friend. And it just comes pouring out of you. Itâs that person that says, Are you OK when youâre not OK. And I loved that, and Iâm so glad that they had John as Jim look to camera and look to his friend. Itâs a brilliant note. Itâs great directing by Ken Kwapis. And a great performance by John. -Angela & JennaÂ
