Owner Update: So today (11/5/19) Steve ( @stevepawgers ) got fixed! Yes his balls are gone. Unfortunately I was not able to take him to the vet myself, but his grandma (my mother) did.

I got home from work and was taking care of Stevie, when I noticed James wasn’t looking well. I thought it was anxiety, since they’re bonded and James spent the majority of the day without Steve. But as the hours went on, James looked worse and worse. I eventually noticed his back legs were shaking, he wouldn’t pur AT ALL, which is odd for James. He was lethargic, and breathing heavily.

I immediately called the vet and they asked me to come in within the hour for an emergency visit. My mom and I packed him up in the car and left Steve home under the care of my sibling.

Long story short, James is gonna be okay. He might have an infection or virus. They covered their bases and gave him all he would need including anti inflammatory for any aches he might have and his fever, a fluid injection for his fever, and an antibiotic for the next 14 days.

Anyway. It’s been a DAY for both of them, and me too, but now that we are home from the vet James is on my lap purring again and it makes me happy that he’s already feeling better.
