Sooo, this happened today. Perhaps my oldest friend in the world - Ryan Joyce - was in Washington, DC. In typical Ry-fashion, he was busy as all outdoors and we managed to squeeze in a lunch date. I went to DC and if I thought he were going to be here for a week in DC, I would switch my calendar around just to spend more time with him. Ryan is one of the most generous, charismatic, loving, caring, and beautiful people I have ever had the privilege of calling friend. My circle of friends has certainly dwindled to a very small number. When you truly find out what friend is, you will understand why I call him friend. Our friendship spans almost 30 years. He and I met at Camp Dudley. It would have been unlikely, without Dudley, if we would have ever met. There are days I do wonder what that would be like, but that is a fleeting moment. I’d never trade in my memories for that thought. Our friendship is unqiue and authentic. We picked up right where we left off. Ry, I love you much. Keep inspiring and lifting those around you! Anyone is always the better for getting time with Ryan! (at PJ Clarkes) https://www.instagram.com/p/B4wHjAIF8UV/?igshid=1rsxw6449559t
