#this is EXACTLY the feeling i had watching seasons 3 + 4 of the umbrella academy #despite having seen and recognized how badly the writing in s2 sucked already #the mental hoops i jumped through trying to delude myself into thinking that fucking show might become good again #Random

hmmm. it's been a good long while since i've felt so condescended to by a movie than i have by frankenstein 2025. the way this film spells out every single little thing directly and unambiguously with zero faith in its audience to understand its incredibly basic story and message(s) made me feel very silly for expecting anything complex or challenging from it.
