This song holds a very special place in my heart. I heard Kiana Ledè sing this incredible version of #DearMrPresident and knew instantly I needed to share it with you all. The lyrics speak so much truth, everything about this song is powerful. This is me...unfiltered, tired, and raw. I want to make my instagram a place where I can try to share the reality of my life...not just a glam photo and promo for my music or whatever I am working on. I’m not saying that there is anything wrong with that, I just want my platform to be a place where I can share that I have bad days, sad days, and days where I feel so insecure that I doubt everything...like how I feel today.

I hope people that see this know that they are not alone. As much as it feels good to be validated by a posed picture I want to share my truth. Since gaining more friends, supporters, and people watching me I have found it extremely difficult to be vulnerable and I have felt scared to be myself. But I want to make an honest effort to CHANGE and GROW.

I want to use my voice for good. I want to make a difference. And most importantly, I want to end stigma around mental health and play my part in the conversation ❤️ So here is to starting the conversation, being vulnerable, and hopefully showing who ever is reading this that we are in this together. I am here for you ✨

Instagram can turn into a place where you only see the snapshots of what seems like a happy and healthy life. The two traits that I value most about myself are my ability to be honest and my courage to be vulnerable. I can admit that I have been having more bad days than good, and I know that my instagram has not been a reflection of that.

I fell in love on a reality tv show, which if you had told me that a year ago, I would have never believed you. Sometimes things don’t always go the way you want them to, or the way that you thought and hoped things would be...but such is life. It has been strange and honestly overwhelming to have people watch, comment, and ask about my personal life on a scale I have never experienced before. I believe I don’t “owe” anyone anything and this is my life, but yes I am not in a relationship. I am looking forward to the future. I am looking forward to growing and developing into a strong and confident woman. I am trying to abide by the lyrics I wrote myself (pictured above) and fearlessly live and speak my truth. I hope that whoever is reading this sees that in my words today ✨
