Could Stranger Things Become a Parks and Rec Prequel? [SPOILERS]
Let me say up front that I don’t think that the Duffer Brothers have been orchestrating a bizarrely subtle, genre-mismatched, long game style setup.
It’s just... remember how good ‘Lost’ was at the start, and how the ending turned out.
Imagine that instead of the ending we got, it had ended up being an elaborate set up for Father Ted, it would have been the biggest twist, the most epic troll, and I would have laughed a lot, Still would have been disappointed, but I’d be disappointed and laughing.
Why is this even a thing
A fan theory suggested that, as both shows are based in Indiana, and the dates they are set are apparently feasible (I didn’t check), and there are numerous body language and physical similarities...

Lolz all round. But then! As part of the promo for Stranger Things 2, Ben Schwartz, who played Jean-Ralphio in "Parks and Rec" and Joe Keery, who plays Steve “So cool they rethought the character and wrote him into the ending of season one*″ Harrington, did an incredible ‘interview’ on The Late Late Show with James Corden, where they responded to the theory:

This is silly, they shouldn’t do this, I dont think they will.
However; If Netflix try to squeeze too much out of it ***** and it all goes pete tong. I hope they do this.
Alt Idea: If they ever do some kind of one-off Parks and Rec ‘reunion’ special, I would very much appreciate some kind of historical flashback featuring Joe Keery (this somehow seems possible)

**Light Painting** I noticed that there's a free experiment with light painting event at @openeyegallery before the fireworks on Sunday. If I go to the waterfront again this year I'll stop in. In any case though, it reminded me about a series of light painting photos I took years ago. This is one of them. It was done very simply with a cold white led, a cr3032 battery and a little electrical tape. The coin cell battery is 3V and the LED is happy with 2.5-5V so you can just put the led legs straight over the battery and tape it in place. Even very cheap batteries last about 48 hours of constant use before they dim and the led will still be glowing after a week or more. Different colour LEDs want different voltages but the majority of the ranges seem to include 3V so I've used them quite a lot for various things.
