the reason behind so many additions this month is my recent trip to London. I decided not to stop myself from buying anything if that seemed at least somehow reasonable. I ended up purchasing two products I've been dreaming of (for which I'm extremely grateful) - a lip gloss and a body mist:)
Even though I hope for more disciplined spending habits next month, I honestly don't have any regrets haha :))
project pan - march 2026
finished products:
deodorant
lip balm
new products:
concealer
face cleanser
posting this a little bit later as I was lazyyy
in march, I only managed to finish two products, but both of the new additions were bought as replacements & necessities for my daily routine, so overall I'm happy with the results of my project panning :)
Projectpan-February 2026
finished products:
hand cream
shampoo
concealer
face cleanser
mascara
foundation
new products:
hand cream
mascara
shimmer body lotion
lip pencil
Both the foundation and the face cleanser are products that usually take me about a year and a half to completely use up, so it’s kind of impressive that I managed to finish them at the same time (which also tells me that my wallet is probably going to have a hard time over the next month).
To justify the new products: three of them were given to me, so I think I’ll just slowly work my way through them and finish them as I actually need to :)
bitch this is all you’re gonna get. this life, this face, this body. you better not ‘maybe in another universe’ your way out of everything. sit your ass down and face this. go make tea and have a picnic and read a goddamn book. kiss your loved ones, send that damn text, and hug your siblings. this is all you’re gonna get.
project pan - january 2026
finished products:
shower gel
eyebrow gel
body mist
lipstick
face cream
lipgloss
body cream
lipbalm
deodorant
new products:
eyebrow gel
highlighter
face serum
I think the reason I managed to finish so many products this month is probably because most of them were already nearly empty!
also, a highlighter I've really wanted happened to be on sale, so I bought it as a future replacement for my current one which is almost done, but so far it's taken me about a year and a half to finish :)
Hi, I have no idea how alive the project pan community on Tumblr is, because so far I've seen maybe 3 posts dedicated to it (not really impressive). I started with project pan in october 2024, but felt like posting it for many people to see my progress might be a little uncomfortable so it always stayed in my drafts :')
however, I believe it's a great way to actually see my progress! Over the years I managed to hoard hundreds of products, many of them gifted to me, many of them bought with my own money.
I'll be glad if this actually reaches out to someone who might feel motivated to start their own journey of project panning:)

A product might be 70% off, but it’s 100% off if you don’t buy it
I did a bigger grocery restock today (70€ at 2 different stores) and I noticed that a lot of what I buy nowadays is not packaged in plastic. I do put some intention behind it but I think it's just because there's more options now & they aren't always necessarily more expensive. I spend about 200-300€ per month on groceries & I do most of the shopping for our household. But we are vegan and I'm a great cook & baker, I make a lot of things at home, so we just don't spend that much on food.
Anyway, pasta and rice often come in a cardboard boxes or paper bags, flour is in paper bags, lots of sauces, nut butters and spreads come in glass jars, oils in glass bottles, drinks in glass bottles or cans that you can return. I usually buy fruit & vegetables loose but even frozen ones are sometimes packed in paper. Beans, tomato sauces & sweet corn I usually buy canned. So overall, it's just the processed stuff that's in 100% plastic packaging, which is easier to cut down on than the staples.
It used to be much harder to shop without buying tons of plastic every time so I'm very excited about this development. It shows that people do care & companies have caught on, at least where I live (Austria).
I would love makeup tutorials to come back, bring the creativity instead of the overconsumption
