Cloud lamp that creates a thunderstorm
Richard Clarkson Studio created a thunderstorm cloud. The cloud lamp contains motion sensors, microphones, and a speaker system. The user can control the cloud’s sound and sensitivity to movement via a remote. According to Clarkson, “the Cloud is an interactive lamp and speaker system, designed to mimic a thundercloud in both appearance and entertainment. Using motion sensors the cloud detects a user’s presence and creates a unique lightning and thunder show dictated by their movement.”
