In this episode, I'll show you what a normal day in Anne's life looks like. After a very bad night, Anne goes to class and is surprised to see so many people around her, and she has instantly gained popularity thanks to the protest she made the day before.
Kazuko seems a little reluctant since she asked Anne out, but Anne turned her down. The truth is that Anne seems to be interested in someone else, or at least she felt a special connection from the moment she saw her, but when it comes to love, she's shy and doesn't usually make the first move.
She was afraid to come home, but her mother was waiting for her to have lunch with her brother Ronald, so she felt good because her father wasn't home like he usually is during the week because he works late.
Being in a good mood, he decided to play his brother's favourite game "Hide and Seek..." Although Ronald is not very good playing that, as he almost always goes to the same place.
When Anne found him, she took him into the garden where they played among the flowers.
Anne spent a good part of the afternoon with her brother, till her mother took him out to dinner, so she took the opportunity of pursuing her favourite pastimes.
She tended her garden, almost always accompanied by her dogs.
She checks that things in her greenhouse are neat and in good condition. She loves the greenhouse because it is her peaceful space where her dogs usually stay.
One of Anne's favourite pastimes is making flower arrangements from the flowers she plants and tends herself.
After spending the afternoon in her garden and greenhouse, she comes home and plays a bit with her dogs. Here's a picture of her with Hadley because she loves taking pictures with them.
Anne usually eats dinner earlier than the rest of her family to avoid joining her father and loves to end the day relaxing in bed reading.
And that's Anne's normal day, relaxed, calm and cheerful - as long as her father isn't around.
In the next episode, we'll see who Anne has noticed and whether she'll put aside her fears and dare to do something.
Anne has been nervous all day about starting classes at her new school. To calm herself down and learn a little more about the town, she decided to look for information about the LGTBI+ community in the area, but she didn't like everything she found because it seems to be a traditional area with these issues...
The next day, Anne decided not to enter the school to give an impromptu demonstration on LGTBI+ rights, which quickly attracted the attention of other students who came to hear what she was saying. Anne was apprehensive at first, but seeing so many people, she gained strength and was reassured when she saw other teens join her. What she didn't know was that at that moment she had met those who would become her best friends.
The good moment lasted only lasted a few minutes, for without warning the headmaster called at her house, and her father appeared... Then the situation became very tense.
She felt it was a good day, full of vindication, but seeing her father show up was killing her, because once again she was doing the only thing she seemed capable of: yelling at him in front of everyone!
Anne could feel the anger growing inside her until she couldn't hold back anymore...
*shouting* I'm tired of the way you treat me, you won't let me be happy with what I like! What's your problem with me?!
Her father made her go home with him, and when she got home he made her go to his office to talk. There he continued to berate her for what had happened.
The quarrel went on, but led to nothing, only to a cloud of hurtful words on both sides. Anne left without giving his the pleasure of seeing her cry, remained in her bed the rest of the afternoon and would not even eat dinner.
She felt very sad that her mother never wanted to talk about it or even try to reassure her father.
Dawn was breaking and she was still crying, the way she always felt, tired of not being accepted by her own family, but she was trying hard to hold on to good memories and moments, like her little brother Ronald, who she loves very much and who helps her keep going.
She also recalled his brief encounter with the teenage gang and that cheered her up a bit.

Conrad Woolley [He/Him - They/Them pronouns]
Trans boy NB and bisexual. His parents abuse him mentally and physically. His family lives in Oasis Springs, an area with deeply rooted traditions and customs.
He ran away from home because he was constantly psychologically abused by his mother for being overweight (body shaming) and because his father constantly beat him as "punishment" for his gender identity.
He has two older brothers who help him sporadically by giving him something to eat, since they cannot take him in.
He lived in a foster home where he does not feel comfortable because he was constantly being misgendered.
Cleveland Frame [He/Him pronouns]
Gay cis boy. Afro-american from Brindleton Bay.
His parents have forced him to undergo conversion therapy because they are convinced they can "cure" their son's homosexuality.
He runs away from home with the help of one of his aunts, for a while he lives under the guardianship of the social services in a centre for minors.
He lived with his aunt for a few months, as she was given temporary guardianship of him, but had to leave because she is very old and could no longer care for him.
Eli Knight [She/Her pronouns]
Trans bisexual girl. Gypsy ethnic who lived in Glimmerbrook.
She confessed her gender identity to her older sister, who betrayed her by telling her parents (who have strong sexist and LGTBIphobic traditions), so she had to flee in the middle of the night, fearing the worst...
No one in her nuclear/extended family wants to know about her.
Until recently, she lived on the streets, where she made some money to eat by handicrafting with scrap metal.
Kazuko Kobayashi [She/Her pronouns]
Cis lesbian girl from very traditional Asian parents.
His parents constantly tried to make him hide his sexual orientation from society (Sunset Valley Asian neighbourhood).
She was kicked out of the house because of her sexual orientation, because she didn't hide, and most importantly, because she didn't follow the stereotypes associated with femininity.
She lived in a sort of ghetto under the bridges of her town with other young people.
They all came to Brindleton Bay, because Andrea is a well-known LGTBI+ person and she was fortunately able to greet them.
The first generation of this legacy is started by the Smith family who recently moved to Brindleton Bay, a nouveau riche family whose fortune was boosted by the sale of family cattle inherited by the father.
Anne never wanted to leave Willow Creek, she liked the town, even though it was too quiet for her, but she was sure that this new home would be even more boring.
In my previous post I gave a short introduction of the family and today I will tell you more about each member.
Anne
As I stated before in my previous post, her life's aspiration is to be an LGTBI+ activist, which she started at an early age and she would like to become a politician to fight for their rights.
Anne's life traits are "Loves Outdoors" and "Self-Assured" and that is why she loves to spend time in her big garden, with the flowers and fruits she grows and also likes to be with her chickens and her dogs.
She is also a confident girl, she makes decisions easily and that helps her a lot in activism, but as for her family, she often feels hesitant and even unsure of how they treat her, especially her father with whom she has a bad relationship.
Blair
Anne's mother is a grown housewife, but helps out in a clothing store some evenings because she is bored of having no goals in life except to take care of her children, especially little Ronald.
Her marriage has been on the rocks for a long time and she feels quite distant from Ken, her husband, but when there are arguments, she keeps quiet and is unable to defend her eldest daughter.
Her life traits are "family oriented", "Dog Lover" and "snob". She loves to play for hours with her dogs and Ronald, but the truth is that the only thing she cares about is that her offspring become people with power, because right now it seems that she loves and cares about her youngest son and dogs, but the reality is that she ignores Anne too much.
Ken
Like Blair, Ken is a middle-aged father of two. He is in the business world where he is a financial tycoon who moves large amounts of money as a financial magnate. He doesn't spend much time at home, and when he does, it's not a very pleasant atmosphere.
His life traits are "Bro", "Active" and "Mean". On Saturdays he spends time with his family, but Sundays are sacred to him and his group of colleagues, with whom he meets for football games and sports.
Ken has a strange fixation on his eldest daughter over whom they often fight, he doesn't seem to understand her or just doesn't want to because he always shows great disapproval of everything LGTBI+.
Finally, I started my new legacy with a family called the Smiths; Ken, Blair, little Ronald, and Anne, who will be the main character of my next legacy. I will narrate the adventures of a teenager Anne who is not happy with her parents, as they do not accept her homosexuality.
This is Anne, a teenage LGTBI+ lesbian activist who lives in Brindleton Bay with her conservative family. Her relationship with her father is troubled although her mother tries to make it all right; what makes her happy at home is having his little brother and her dogs.
She wants to leave the house but fears she will no longer be able to see his brother.
Her parents Blair & Ken, her little brother Ronald, and their doggies Marley & Hadley.
This countryside cottage in Brindleton Bay is owned by a traditional family called the Smith; Ken, Blair, little Ronald and Anne, who will be the main character of my next legacy.
