i hate when scary stuff in movies is explained, like when (this is a bad example but I don't know any other good ones off the top of my head) "the ring", everything is done by the girl so it makes it less scary? like the only reason I was scared was bc there was so much mystery and no clear explanation- I didn't know what was going on. I feel like the only good media I've seen handle this well is until dawn, they made the wendigos so scary even after understanding how they're made. However, how they're made is probably one of the scariest things for humans I think.
