Janey’s new nickname is Barb Jr. Like, her mom is kind of a bitch, and we love her so much? Maybe she could even be more cunty?????? Instead of so tolerant and accommodating to her ex???????????? Maybe???

doing replies and sending out a couple starters today bc i can’t hold on to them forever. i’m also pressing pause on the spreadsheet bc i need to work out some things in it. Right now, it’s big enough. If you don’t get a starter from it here or on discord OR if we aren’t plotting from it, I won’t be adding to it until I finish what I have. So temporary pause on that. Might have to get Rocki a fruit basket for everything she’s putting up with from me the last couple of days.

I will say for the most part, she’s okay with most of the kids on it. I feel bad for maisie, but-

I’m also going to say that I do tend to have to ask about a lot of things depending on the age you want to have this step sibling at, and I tend to ask the people this account is heavily associated with.

we found, It’s easier for her to handle Barb having a kid FIRST not because of MY attachment, but because that is her primary parent. She spends MOST of her schedule with her mom, and I am trying to pair step kids with a different sibling from Barb to avoid worst case scenarios. She goes to school from her Mom’s house, stays weekdays, etc in a divorce scenario. it isn’t her liking a parent better, it’s just how it came down. So, she will be more involved with a Barb sibling than she would with another child, and I can’t control how custody was worked out 🤷‍♀️. BUT it also means cooper’s kids don’t deal with the full blowout of a new baby like Barb has to. It’s bad for Barb and good for cooper. if you want to write the worst case scenario, I’m down, but without a buffer child, she is just not tolerant to any siblings from anyone. She will ruin a family relation over it, and refuse to see or speak to the parent in question. I’ve tried and tested the theory with multiple people.

I also said cooper was a girl dad, but if @armageddonpitchman and @vaulttecexec could get it together, I think Theodore John Howard would be a GREAT EDITION. And we should HAVE THAT.

so, as i was given at least one step sibling per parent via discord yesterday, i was able to test my theory with how janey would react. it’s pretty safe to say, if her primary parent (barb) had one first, she’s generally more tolerant to the idea. so, for the sake of her not going full combatant, i have permission to put a little sister into play to make it easier for janey. vera lore will come later.

-she still needs both of her parents to break big news to her. do so as a family front to combat negative feelings early.

-vera was born when janey was, at youngest, nine. so keep that in mind when thinking of ages you want to approach her with a step sibling at.

-give her the option to be involved, even if she chooses not to be, and she’ll be more accepting of the baby sooner.

cooper and boyd would butt heads a lot. it’s just how it is. they’re too similar in personality for their own good. janey would consider moving to colony house over it.

I think cooper is more likely to get stuck in fromtown. he has more issues for the creatures to trap him with. barb would be an unfortunate casualty if they came looking for her together. cooper is a perfect candidate for occupancy in the town, tho.

my thoughts on hannibalverse

-Janey is a patient of Dr. Lecter, bc her parents care about mental health.

-Her parents HAVE been invited to dinner parties, because the man is a patron of the arts and her dad is a retired actor

-Janey is the only one who hasn’t eaten people.

-Dr. Lester is probably fascinated with Barb and how smart she is without showing off about it.

-Jack Crawford thinks Cooper Howard is a pretentious asshole because he didn’t like his movies. And it’s Jack. He doesn’t need a reason.

-Will Graham probably has a crush on Cooper.

I’ve spun a wheel, so we’re going to discuss Janey’s interview with the vampire, Hannibal, and from verses today so we can think thoughts and have a master list. Also, probably main verse, because she’s special to me.
