and it's clear he's nervous about the whole idea. dancing was and always would be his dream. but it had quickly been put on the back burner, seemingly forgotten about. in the back of his mind, the dream of dancing for thousands still shined brightly, however, that's where that dream ended.

He's quick to notice her wandering eyes and his own orbs follow where her gaze lands. Pink lips purse and then without warning, he's getting down on his knees. Nimble fingers reach out to start tying up her boots. Despite her reassurance that she was fine, he still had the habit of wanting to protect her.

Just a little psa that it is never okay to pressure somebody into writing smut. No means no. Don’t analyze it, don’t make it personal. Respect their wishes. Whatever reason they choose not to write smut is completely their business, and they shouldn’t feel obliged to explain themselves to you.

Being in Grady had messed up her timeline a bit, she didn’t know how long she’d been out to start with, and even after waking up she’d been there a while. But she’d only been truly alone for a little while. She hadn’t counted her time in Grady in what she’d told him.

as she speaks, he's slowly moving out from where he's been. Beth was her name. it suited her. his knife is slowly put away when he's sure the area is safe and he even relaxes his shoulder slightly.

the blonde eventually makes his way over to a blank wall. finding a seat on the ground after sliding his pack off, he keeps his back up against the hard surface. he keeps his hunting blade on his one side.
