Life doesn’t end at 23. 30 isn’t old. Fetishising youth as the ultimate desirable characteristic in a person is actively harmful to both young and old people. Some of us lost our teenage years to abuse and recovery, and can only begin living when we’re at a different life stage.

concept: me, waking up as warm sunshine shines through the huge window of my apartment, smiling as I think of the great things I’m gonna experience and learn today, getting dressed and drinking a glass of water to stay hydrated. A quick glance on my planner tells me that after my lecture I’ll meet up with some old friends of mine in a nice cafe. I’m not stressed, my skin is clear and I can safely say that I am happy.
