something I find so fascinating about Poor Things is the colour palette used throughout. my personal favourite is the ektachrone colour reversal film that was used majorly during Bella’s travels especially Lisbon. I like to think the excessive use of colour encapsulates the wonder and desire that fills her at this point in time and really highlights the freeness and sense of adventure in Bella whereas the black and white film in the first section of the movie contrasts this and signifies how in the mansion her life is black and white, as in she does not know anything else other than what is presented to her in that mansion through the teachings and nurturing of godwin.
