i actually see so many taiwanese comics using (mostly the asian ones but sometimes others too) hetalia characters to explain politics on my feed/other taiwanese sites being posted/reposted by people who don’t seem to know what the characters are...

and then you get older people asking stuff like why is taiwan a girl in the comments? and you’re just like. well.

i honestly have no idea if its there anymore bc i havent been at that particular station for a year now but, in one of the mrt stations there’s a billboard thats basically a compilation of shit employees have been asked over the past few years and one of them was “if there’s a chicken loose in here can i take it home with me?”

i think about that question a lot and the circumstances that prompted a question like that

I think a better question is who do I not ship her with, ahahaha– //shot

I don’t ship her with China; I’m REALLY picky with how she’s shipped with Japan (and to a lesser extent, how she’s shipped with South Korea and Hong Kong) but everyone else is basically fair game tbh.
