I felt like I was asleep within my sleep, floating in darkness. And then I began to hear voices. They were quiet and soft at first, but the singing grew in intensity like a choir was approaching out of the darkness. I recognized the song they sang from the fourth chapter of Revelation, “Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come!” It sounded like an army of angels, the Hosts of heaven praising the Lord. And as the volume intensified, a bright light pushed back the darkness. The volume and brightness grew to such a level that they overwhelmed my sense.       And suddenly I was back in the battle, cutting through the demon hordes again. The abomination was nowhere to be found, and I knew that praise had defeated the enemy I could not face in my own strength.        That lesson I dreamed has never left me. Praise is a weapon of war. When the weight of darkness presses against us - when our enemy is greater than our strength - the battle belongs to the Lord, and praise is the weapon that lays His enemies low. So praise the Lord!
