thank you ppl who go through and like a bunch of my posts btw. i see you.
sure its kinda pointless but i like seeing the little blue activity notification thing
i love notifications!!!
ive kinda been out of ideas for what to post so today i will talk about the MTC's new design standards
if youve noticed that all the signage at train stations and airports and whatnot are the same thats because of these standards. the classic black and white easy to read text.
it is being updated to.... this now!
bad examples but it gets the point across
its new and cool! i think the signs for bus stops arnt too great but overall i like the new look. if you want to see more into the new signs check out the MTC guidelines document i am so damn tired so im not even gonna proof read this but something is better than nothing. yippie!
do you think trains have favourite colours?
Blue
i agree i like blue. its pretty versatile
i know someone blue and she's pretty cool!!!
I’m so happy to be on a bus every day
hooray for buses!!!
Get my ducks in a row? I don't even know where all of my ducks are and I'm pretty sure one of them is a pigeon.
duckies!!!

jasmine is literally me
idk what else to say I basically may as well be her she's so me
I don't have time to put together conclusive evidence so you're just gonna have to believe me
(note: I am unfortunately not actually jasmine)
wow, maybe you can run my blog for me!
San Francisco Muni Streetcar No. 1 – seen here with my roommate Marc at the F-line stop on our corner – was the first of 10 built in 1912 to launch the newly-created Municipal Railway (Muni) and its first line: the A-Geary.
Wow, vintage MUNI!!!
Getting on a new train car is always so nice. the outside looks so good, its clean inside, just overall pleasent. Yesterday i was on car #4722 (which is a very new one iirc) and i always forget just how nice it is until it happens
New train cars are great!!!
San Francisco by night.
Im sure a lot of ppl would refuse to believe that this is the tenderloin
believe it or not sf is pretty kinda wherever you go (do people say tenderloin or the tenderloin? i feel like districts go on a kind of case by case basis in the city)
look at our beautiful city!!!
he's a-comin'!!!
star trek!!! i don't actually know much about it but yay sci-fi!!!!!
sfo airtrain...
I honestly recomend anyone just ride it for fun if you have the time and enough money for a samtrans fare (or money to burn on bart). The interior has this vibe thats almost like the legacy bart trains, but still kinda modern. its also free ! and goes all the way to the long term parking building, which is pretty far away from the airport proper
Anyway its kinda cozy! I leave you with a picture i took the other day while on it
Ferry Building, Embarcadero Freeway and BART construction, Market Street, San Francisco, 1969-1974.
The photo may be as early as 1969 but definitely not after 1974. Scanned from a very dirty slide.
