Alice entered the Cave of Wonders on a mission, though that mission was briefly side-tracked by the amazing smell of simmering food wafting through the air when they opened the door. They waited by the host-stand until someone came by to help, and then they were thrown off their thought again by the woman’s greeting.
“Party? I’m not here for a party. And I’m on my own, it wouldn’t be a very fun party with just one person,” Alice said matter-of-factly, glancing over their shoulder just to make sure they didn’t have anyone accidentally (or on purposely) following them into the Cave of Wonders. And there were no party hats in sight either. Was there something they were supposed to be celebrating? “Actually,” Alice continued, remembering finally why they were there. “I was wondering if I could put a poster up on your door? I lost my cat, Dinah.”
Jasmine looked at them and said “Oh sometimes a one person party is just the ticket one needs.” she said shrugging before saying :Oh you have?” she said feeling bad about Alice losing her cat “I have a cat, well not my cat it’s a stray that shows up and you know you have to take care of.” she said before heading to the back with her “this is Rajah” she said picking up the orange tabby “what does Dinah look like?” she said hoping that Rajah wasn’t actually Dinah.Â
