âMy grandparents... left me property here. I understand that their home meant a lot to them, but they didnât realize I would have to live here and basically look after it.â Jason sighed. âI donât mean to sound like an ungrateful brat, but I was just about to get my life going. I just pictured I would be somewhere else by now.â He took another sip of his beer. âSo yeah, Iâm technically not here âcause I want to be here...âÂ
âYouâre not scared at all of the murderer?â Jason understood why people were locking doors and not going at night anymore. It was reasonable to be paranoid after a murder just took place. It was almost as if this town was placed under a quarantine. âRichard Ramirez, every heard of him?â Jason casually asked. âVery famous serial killer in the mid 80âs. He was called the night stalker. He invaded homes.â He had always been fascinated with this kind of stuff... call it a morbid fascination, if you will. âJust an interesting fact for the day.â He crosses his arms.Â
âHey, Iâm trying to see the best in everything... and a little humor never killed anyone.â He was wondering this stranger was just questioning him. âYou ask a lot of questions for someone who isnât in law enforcement.â He continued, âIâm just taking a late night stroll... staying home is a drag. I live alone, so itâs even worse.âÂ
Jason stared at the cupcakes in the box. âHm, I wonder if this chocolate one is any good.â He carefully grabbed it and took a bite from it. âWow, thatâs pretty good... Iâm more of a muffin guy, but thatâs a solid cupcake.â He nodded in approval.Â
When the stranger talked about his profession, Jason remarked, âThatâs really sweet.â A little smile appeared on his face, exposing some of his teeth. âTeacher is a respectable profession... and a hard one at that, so I canât knock you for it.â Really, the last thing Jason would think about this guy was that he was a teacher. âItâs so weird to think that I was once a restless kid in this small town.â He continued, âI grew up here and I just thought this town was too small for someone like me...â however, he was glad to here the other male was enjoying pondbridge. âJason.â He firmly took Leviâs open hand. âI guess since you told me about you, itâs only appropriate I tell you about me.â He continued, âIâm just a music producer... and sometimes a dj.âÂ
hi everyone, Iâll be getting to my messages tomorrow as I need to sleep soon. I have to get up early for work. meanwhile, jasonâs plot page is here. itâs super basic at the moment as it is still under construction. also, if youâd rather chat on discord, then pls ask for my discord handle.Â
âoddly enough, I grew up here. Hard to believe, right?â jason found it oddly comforting to chat with the bartender. He seemed like a cool dude. âIâve been here for around a year already... due to some personal stuff. I was in Los Angeles before. Man, LA was the best.â He couldnât help but dreamily stare off into space whenever he thought about California. âYou know the feeling when youâre in the place where you belong? Iâm not sure how to describe it, but itâs an amazing feeling.â Talking about it was making him miss it that much more. Maybe he will shopping for vinyls later to keep his mind off things. âIâm a music producer. I also djed at some of the places downtown. Itâs not that exciting, but itâs something.âÂ
the younger male shrugged. âBut Iâm here now, so Iâm trying to make the best of it.â He continued, âhow about you? Youâve been here your whole life?âÂ
jason joked, âI love tattoos, but if I keep getting them whenever Iâm bored, Iâll run out of space on my body.â He already knew that pondbridge wasnât the epitome of excitement. âitâs not like Iâm staying here willingly... and Iâm not being held hostage or anything, so you donât have to worry about that.âÂ
âIâm just trying to be optimistic I guess.â A little smile appeared on his face. âEspecially when I donât even know how long Iâll be here.â even though staying in pondbridge wasnât in his plan at all, he was willing to do it for his grandparents. Jason knew how much this place meant to them. Jason was never offended by Daniâs sense of humor. In a way, they just understood each other.Â
âThe sixth sense? Who hasnât seen that?â He jumped a little when Dani gasped. âHereditary? Thatâs a fairly recent one, right?â He had a thoughtful expression on his face. âI havenât seen that one yet.â He was intrigued when she said he was going to be traumatized. âThose are some bold claims. Alright, letâs do it.â He added, âI normally donât trust others when they recommend me movies, but I trust you. So far, Iâve enjoyed every movie youâve recommended me.âÂ
âPokemon go is kind of stale here. It was better in Los Angeles.â He casually replied, âtrust me, Iâm the last person they would suspect of being a serial killer. Iâm not that twisted.â with the recent murder of chelsea, jason understood why the residents were perturbed. he was bothered by her murder as well. why would anyone murder a girl like chelsea in cold blood?Â
jason was amused by jamieâs statement. âyouâre checking me out? Iâm flattered. Let me know if you wanna arm wrestle.â obviously, he was joking around. âIâm not sure how you know how much strength is required to kidnap a 10 year old... but I wonât ask.â
Jason really was apologetic. He seemed like a really good guy. âI understand.â He continued, âall of us have off days... when everything just goes wrong.âÂ
He felt even more guilty when the other male mentioned that they were for his students. âWow, that doesnât make me feel like more of an asshole at all.â He remarked as he realized he possibly ruined this guyâs day. âSure, itâs the least I could do after I practically destroyed your desserts.â jason was flattered the stranger offered him cupcakes. âIâm not really into cupcakes, but if you insist...â He picked up one of the objects and began walking beside the stranger. âSo, youâre a teacher, huh?âÂ
âYou. Yes, noâ you, yeah, youâre not invisible. If youâre playing Pokemon Go in a fuckinâ graveyard your ass is about to get haunted.â
With another slow drag from his cigarette, he took a step closer towards the other after having both his private bubble and 20 minute break interrupted by the new, living presence. Already irritated, his dark brows furrowed harder. "Donât tell me youâre here for a quick fuck; people donât STILL have sex in the cemetery, do they?â
âhow did you know?â a smirk appeared on jasonâs face. âyou think iâm gonna get haunted, but in reality, iâm gonna become the pokemon master.â when the man walked closer towards him, jason did not flinch. he seemed to be in a bad mood, but the younger male didnât really seem to care. âactually, that would make things interesting. let me put fucking in a cemetery on my bucket list.â he watched as the smoke emanated from jamieâs cigarette.Â
âi guess this is the one of the perks of having a mansion to myself. horror movies in the living room on a projector anytime i want.â jason placed a bowl of popcorn onto the coffee table. he certainly did not look the type, but he enjoyed watching horror films. what better way to start october than have a horror movie marathon with a good friend of his. he had been friends with dani since high school, regardless what anyone thought of her. she helped him out a lot over the years, so he was grateful towards her. âsince youâre my guest, iâll let you pick what movie we see first.â he sat down on the couch next to her and opened up a bag of red vines.Â
He stared at the upside down box of cupcakes currently on the floor and felt a momentary need to take a deep, shaky breath so he could refrain from spontaneous waterworks. Truly, he should have predicted this; heâs never had much success in balancing things and if it wasnât for his memory failing him that morning, he wouldnât have to drop by the grocery store AND the bakery that evening. The longer he stood there, staring at the waste of 30 dollars and food, the more his stomach knotted until the aggressive collision of someoneâs shoe against the cardboard propelled his little cupcakes further towards the edge of the sidewalk.
âHey!â He said pitifully, scampering towards the box and finally placing it upright and away from future kicks. âYou should watch where you step, you know. It might be dessert this time, next time it might be a puppy or a child.â
jason was not really paying attention to where he was going. it wasnât that he was in a hurry or anything. maybe he was just being careless. he eventually felt his foot kick something. he watched as a cardboard box was propelled to the edge of the sidewalk. it wasnât until a stranger yelled âheyâ that he noticed that box belonged to someone. âshit, iâm so sorry.â he grew wide eyed. the stranger was right; he should have watched where he was going. âwell, yeah... thatâs a given, but your stuff is ruined.â he added, âdo you need help or anything?â really, he wanted the stranger to accept his offer as he really needed something to do.Â
i posted a really bad starter but iâve messaged those who liked my last post for plotting. if any others would like to plot, pls donât hesitate to dm me. i am sick so iâm sorry if iâm a little slow.Â
only after a year of staying in pondbridge, jason was growing tired of this town, knowing what else was out there. he was staying by himself in a mansion; a rich kid with way too much free time. besides his music, he did not have anything else to work on. he even considered taking up a part-time job at a local joint just so time could pass by faster. however, he was grateful that he was able to rekindle friendships with people he lost contact with after leaving for los angeles.Â
jason found himself at a bar, trying to enjoy himself. he remarked, âgod, is there really anything else to do in this town?â he took another swig of his beer. Â
Hello, Iâll be around for plotting, if anyone wants to plot. You can dm me or like this post :) sorry I wasnât around yesterday. I was really exhausted from work.
[ kj apa, 23, cismale, he/him ] â well, well, guess who my eyes see! isnât that [ jason harper ]? i have seen them around town for a while, maybe [ one year ]? i know they consider themselves [ carefree ] & [ artistic ] but i think they are [ impulsive ] & [ selfish ]. i believe they are [ dj / music producer ]. letâs hope [ gemini ] proves themselves a saint! //
hi everyone, iâm gray and iâll be rping jason ! super excited to be here since i love horror and mystery rps. i provided more about his muse under the cut.
grew up in pondbridge with his parents
his grandparents (on his fatherâs side) were the ones who initially settled down in pondbridgeÂ
he was always an outgoing kid who was always doing something. he explored different interests and he liked experimenting with everything. i know that sounds hella vague but it will make sense in a bit or eventually...
during high school, he was quite popular. he played sports, was in band, joined a ton of clubs. his grades werenât too bad either.Â
he attended college in los angeles and worked as a dj / music producer on the side. he was a business major, but he pursued music on the side to balance the seriousness of business. does that even make sense lmao
he wanted to stay in los angeles and pursue music, but his grandparents left him their mansion in the northside of pondbridge when they passed away.Â
so now heâs back in pondbridge trying to take care of the mansion business like all the paperwork and stuff
he currently lives and works from the mansion. he set up his own studio and everything. he has all the space so he decided to use it.Â
heâs honestly antsy to move back to la, but itâs not happening anytime soon. even with the murders happening, he knows that he canât just leave.Â
he is mainly a music producer, but has djed at some of the local joints in the downtown area
he does kind of act spoiled but not excessively. his family is quite well off. his grandparents were hella rich, and his parents are both successful
he is outgoing and is the life of the party usually, but lately, he has been on edge because he just feels stuck. he feels like heâs not doing enough.Â
to make matters worse, chelsea was a friend of jasonâs.
Personality: he can be very stubborn about his artistry. Basically, he doesnât like being tied down by people who think they know better. Heâs impulsive in the sense that he could act according to his emotions before thinking then acting logically. Heâs selfish because once he wants something for himself, heâs going to chase after it only for himself. If thatâs a positive trait, it would be determination I guess.Â
wanted connections:
high school ex- your muse and jason briefly dated while they were attending high school together in pondbridge
hook-ups / fwbs- gimme all of them, the more scandalous the better
best friends / friends in general-Â your muse and jason were good friends while he was still living in pondbridge or they got close just recently
muse- jason is always on the lookout of musical talent, and he thinks your muse is super talented. he really encourages your muse to take a shot at music or at least let him help them put out some music
Gym buddies- your muse and Jason work out together regularlyÂ
Your muse was also a friend of Chelsea, and Jason finds comfort in talking to them
Here with me - Jasonâs not a fan of living in pondbridge. He likes to say that the only reason heâs staying is because of his grandparentsâ mansion. However, your muse is the other reason (he wonât admit) that heâs staying in pondbridge. Jason is basically head over heels for your muse. He eventually tells your muse how he feels. ( this will require a lot of plotting as well as angst. Itâs up to you how your muse handles his confession. It can be one-sided, it can be mutual, etc. if youâre up for it, let me know. This connection can also be altered to be more platonic, not purely romantic.)Â
