Jasper cleared his throat awkwardly before nodding, “I... That’s fine... I mean it’s probably better to get to know the other masters. We’re just the slaves. But I don’t have a reason to turn you down.”

Jude sighed, mostly sounding exasperated. Heat –no, the male term was rut, wasn’t it?– didn’t sound all that pleasant, a constant need to fuck or get fucked burning through you, but experiencing it was somehow even worse than it sounded. He felt too warm, his skin too small, and that was the sort of thing he couldn’t really explain. The other male didn’t seem affected in the least bit, though. And maybe Jude was just a bit envious.

“You haven’t been here long, either, then?” He wasn’t really sure how to approach the whole ‘what are you’ thing.

Jasper could feel it in his bones, making his brain foggy. He rarely wanted to so adamantly wanted to fuck someone, but in that moment he wanted someone to fuck him and fast. He ran a hand across his neck, doing well at hiding just how horny he was. He’d had good control over that his entire life. Even as he sized the other up. Eyes lingering on the way his jaw curved. The softness of his lips. Jasper brought a hand up to his face.

“No...” He said with a shake of his head. He blew out some air. “Not very long... Just a week or so.”

Jude had seen this coming. Knew this was the worst of the two options afforded to him for his crime. His brother’s execution had been…well, not swift, and maybe not painless, but it had marked the end of his punishment. Jude’s punishment, however, was to be prolonged. That’s why they let him live, why they sent him to this place, to make an example of him. Werewolves don’t take kindly to deserters, and apparently hate conspirators to desert just as much. He was struck by an unfamiliar feeling almost as soon as he awoke, a spike in temperature that started low in his gut, spreading like fire and causing a sharp pain to ring out in his head, the sudden ache being the factor that let it all fall into place, made him realize what was going on. He’d heard about this sort of thing, sure, but he’d never actually experienced it before. 

“What…I…This isn’t normal. Is it?” He didn’t know much about this place, but for all he knew, keeping slaves like this was just something they did, though he had no idea how exactly they might go about that.

Jasper was perched up in his cell, trying his best to not be seen by the others around him. He wasn’t interested in being dragged from his cell, knowing that could end up in disaster if it was the wrong person. He felt like he was harboring secrets and that didn’t seem like a good thing in this place. As the boy in the other cell spoke, Jasper turned his head and shrugged his shoulders.

“I uh... I don’t really know what is normal or not in this place.”

“Hi Jasper! It’s really nice to meet you,” he said with a polite smile, “I um… I know this is really awkward but I really do want to get to know people here… do you mind talking to me a bit longer?”

“Oh uh... Nice to meet you too.” Jasper bit his lip, still confused by the man’s demeanor but deciding that if he had wanted to hurt him, he already would have. “Sure... It’s not like I have anything to do.”

“It’s ok, don’t worry about it,” Skylar insisted, sensing that the other’s discomfort was only growing, he wasn’t sure why he was so nervous, did masters usually treat people that badly here…? “I’m Skylar, what’s your name?”

Jasper cleared his throat and nodded his head. “I uh... My name is Jasper.” He offered the man a gentle smile. At least he got the ability to use his preferred name out of this.

“Jasper.” He nods his head. “I guess we live together, yeah?”

Sam recognized the other as one of his cellmates, and smiled awkwardly at him. “Are you sure? I know I have kinda big feet, and the was my heel..”

“I get that I’m kind of short so you can run into me sometimes... It’s cool, man. Don’t worry.” He licked his lips.

“This place is ridiculous.” Sam muttered, walking around the town as the ‘festivities’ took place. He tried to stay away from the groups of people, mostly wanting to be alone. But in trying to stay away from a rambunctious group, he stepped on someone’s foot. “Shit, I’m sorry,” he said, turning to the person.

Jasper backed up. He’d always hated crowds, they made him feel nervous. He ran a hand back through his hair and cleared his throat awkwardly. “It’s fine...”

Jasper swallowed roughly as he stared the master down, trying his best to not be terrified of him or his words. “Fear grows boring after a while. Where is the fun in that?”

“I know cara, I do too, I miss my nonna.”She shook her head, “You are wrong, you will last, you will survive, because it is in human nature to keep going.” she soothed gently, the male might not see it now, but he would in the future. He’d feel more confident to yell at the guards when his face wasn’t in pain.

“Nonna... What does that mean?” He found himself asking. Did it mean family? Because that was not what he missed. Though he supposed he missed his baby brother, but doubted the boy would grow up to look kindly on him. He wondered how they played off his disappearance and could only hope they didn’t do the same to Gil when he came of age.

“Si, you know it’s a bad idea. You’re upset, not stupid.” She told him gently. It was a horrible situation to be in, sore, broken, possibly afraid. She couldn’t blame him for his words.”Try to breath and calm yourself.” Her instincts to look after others kicking in. She was a gamma wolf, they were the caretakers of the packs.

Jasper coughed again, but at least he could feel the blood starting to slow. She was right of course, choking on his own blood was a stupid idea. Even if slightly tempting. “I just... I want to go home. I’m not going to last here.”

She had noticed back home that humans tended to tilt their heads back instead of forward, which was dangerous. “Si, it is, isn’t it?” she drawled sarcastically. Aria had grown accustomed to it all, but that didn’t mean she didn’t hate it as much as everyone else.

“I’m not sure that’s such a bad idea.” He muttered through the blood-- caring little at the moment if that sounded bad. He coughed slightly and tried to hide his face from the woman. No need to show that he was on the verge of having a breakdown.

Derek shook his head “Humans, you think of life so, linearly, its not that simple, your lives are so short, you think you would learn to live…What ever” The demon shook his head, though he had a grand understanding of humans, he still got confused sometimes. Derek smirked, “I am leading you back to your cell. There you will be safe” 

“It would help if we weren’t constantly fighting just to survive.”

Jasper had grown up in survive mode for multiple reasons. The fact that he was human was just one of them. He was then faced with constant rejection, fear, and even assaults for choosing to be true to himself. He followed after the man quietly this time, deciding he was better off falling silent when all he wanted to do was go to a corner and cry until he felt better. Until this new world left him and he could go back to whatever fucked up life he had before.

Aria’s nose twitched at the scent of blood. “Pinch at the bridge of your nose and lean forward, yours will not be the first blood spilt in these cells and will not be the last.” She looked at him at his final remark. “Poor choice of phrasing, they wouldn’t mind fucking you.”

He did as he was told, leaning forward and pinching the bridge of his nose. He took in a deep breath, wishing for a moment that he could just get on his bike and disappear. He would ride it for miles, never looking back-- if he could. “Lovely place.” A part of Jasper quaked at the idea of where he was. Of where his parents had sold him to. And for a moment he wondered if he should have just pretended to be someone he wasn’t.

“Well that man is a fool, I could kill him, his emotions are weak, and lifeless..Oh” Derek nodded slowly “He is a vampire, simple as that, thats why he is angry, worry not Jasp, I will take you to a safe place!” The dark skinned demon smiled “Shall we?’ He offered his hand. 

“Him being a vampire explains it all away?” He asked with a furrow of his brow. He looked at the hand was offered, unsure if he should take it or not. But after a moment he reached out and took the demon’s hand into his own.

“Dio mio.” The wolf muttered to herself lightly as she watched the interaction from her own cell. She leaned back against the bars watching until the guard had left. “Well that was stupid, Si? These guards will not care if you warn them or not.”

Jasper let out a soft growl and tried to stop the blood from spilling everywhere. “Well I can’t help their disappointment. So fuck them.”
