The shallows of thulusdhoo are thriving with life. Small reef fish were abundant, sheltering within the crevices of the coastal rock formations. Small corals were also observed in the area, possibly having established themselves after being carried in and deposited onto the rocks by incoming ocean waves and tidal movements.
