Kumagaya Summer Festival

Kumagaya Summer Festival During Summer Festivals usually carry or pull these Shrines (or Floats) around town while people on the Shrines play music. The one in the picture above is called a Dashi. People have to pull this Shrine and anyone can participate!

Kumagaya Festival! You can buy your Hearts desire at a Japanese Festival! From Grilled Squid to Masks and Gold Fish. Take your pick! Each Prefecture and Towns holds their own Festival during the Summer all on different dates. So if you visit Japan during the Summertime you can go see and participate in several festivals!

Dog Fish Treats These are common treats for dogs in Japan. As you can see this little dog was slobbering to get one! They love it.
