         TO be frank, he wasn’t thrilled. Hoenn, or whatever they called it, was leaving him less than impressed. Perhaps the jacket wasn’t the best idea. Even if he shed the jacket though, he’d be greeted with the humidity associated with the coast. Commodus gave a grimace. He missed the dry heat of his home, but it was too late to turn back now.            HE wandered the beach for a bit, before stumbling across a mountain of a man. The build is similar, as is the height. He can’t be here. No. The dragon clenches his fists, trying to regain control. No, it’s not him. The hair color’s wrong. The outfit’s wrong. And there isn’t a bloody throat looking back at him.            THIS man isn’t his father. Couldn’t be. Commodus killed the man himself. He needed to leave/

     IGNORANCE IS BLISS.      And that’s exactly what she is– Ignorant to the other man’s… Ahem.      WANDERING EYES.      Lavinia however ISN’T blind, or at least she isn’t COMPLETELY unaware to the way that the visitor’s eyes kept trailing back over to her. It’s taking everything within the tiny servant’s being not to SNAP at him, or at least give a quick chirp of, ‘ my eyes are up HERE, thank you ! ‘      Oh how delightful that would be, but instead she merely keeps her mouth glued shut and hopes that this dumb negotiation will be done and over with as soon as possible so that the guest would GET OUT.      The movement from the King’s chair IMMEDIATELY draws her attention forth, those eyes of hers widening before she’s excusing herself and rushing to Commodus’ side, a brief bow being made before she’s clasping her hands together, expression eager.      ❝ Was there something you needed, Lord Commodus ? ❞

        IT’S refreshing, to have her at his side.         AWAY from that disgusting rat. He’s ready to end everything, and make the man leave. But that would mean that the efforts he had put forth to even arrange for this negotiation would all be for naught. And while he would hate to ruin all of that, this disgusting creature that had taken residence in his banquet hall seemed reason enough for it all to go to pieces.            HE leaned onto his arm, towards Lavinia. Voice low, he began to speak.

“I’d rather you stay here for the rest of the night. Better to have someone I trust at my side than strangers.”

            A pitiful excuse at best, but one that was believable if anyone else had heard it. He can’t help but feel pleased with her there. A sign that she was his, in a way.              .....PERHAPS he was a bit too possessive.

Or at least let them know that Lavi was his.            HE motioned to her, gold meeting blue. Hopefully she’d get the message. If not, he could have someone else bring her over.
