But I've been wondering a lot lately about wether or not Jax will be confirmed to be trans in the last ep or at least have a very strong metaphor used to signify that. I personally believe it HAS to be confirmed in one way or another, since in one of Goose's asks sb said smth about Jax becoming a tumbr sexyman and Goose just replied that it would be really funny if that happened "considering what happens in the show" LIKE COME ON. ITS SO OBVIOUS. I NEED Jax to be confirmed transfem now or else we've been decieved 💔💔

hi just wanted to call attention the insane amount of people in tadc communities saying “actually i think that he should be a femboy! it’s the perfect middle point between transmasc and transfem!” and. are you stupid.

Yeah, it's gross when a character is made to so obviously be one thing and then everyone forces some other label on them like a compromise. Sadly this happens way too often to transfem characters, including ones that have been directly confirmed/stated to be in ways further than Jax has, such as Bridget from Guilty Gear. It's sad to see but I don't think people will stop calling transfem characters or even real people femboys anytime soon (on that note all the power to those who reclaim it for themselves but please stop calling any trans woman or transfem that just because you want to, real or fictional).
I personally think there is nothing wrong with not conforming to gender whether you're cis or trans, feminine guys and masculine gals are wonderful, but people gotta understand that when it comes to ones inherent sense of gender you can't just take that away just because not every woman has to be feminine and some men will be feminine.
Also on the perfect middle point- what the fuck? No it's not. Thats hurtful to all trans people to say being a femboy is some compromise in between transmasc and transfem. Sure, some transmasc people like to dress fem, sure, some transfem people reclaim the word femboy for themselves, but that doesn't mean that stupid term is something that represents a mixture of our very seperate identities.

The show could not be any clearer with its text that she's a trans woman struggling with being in the closet, clinging to any shred of masculinity to avoid looking inwards and asking the hard questions
