I met her almost 2 years ago on a blind date to watch the sunset at Mount Bonnell. @crystalmelody is my lifelong Valentine❤️ May all of your sunsets shared friends! (at Pedernales Falls State Park)
Some days are better than others in life. This morning I am sitting in a waiting room, while she is in surgery to have a cyst removed. This picture is a throwback to a better day. I'm looking forward to more sunny days soon. Please send us your prayers friends!🙏🏻

Trees teach us lessons. This one has been severed by storms, yet it is still surviving, and being restored a little more each year, because it has deep roots. (at Wild Basin Wilderness Preserve)
Did you know that whatever you are eating is my favorite food?

I spent a couple of hours observing, documenting, and listening to this ancient soul spin yarns about the past this weekend. Good times. (at Upper Bull Creek Park)
She doesn't get a lot of credit but @crystalmelody helps me take great photos. This was a shot I wanted to try to create by having her light up the waterfall with my headlamp in the dark. The lens I chose shot too wide from where I was at first so this shot of her happened by accident. I edited this in black and white, leaving only the car light tracers on the bridge still in color. This was taken with my Canon T3i, on a 24mm lens, with no filters, and a 20 second exposure. (at Bull Creek Park, Austin, Texas)
This beauty in the Bull Creek Preserve tends to attract a lot of people on the weekend, which is why you won't find many long exposure shots of this specific waterfall. This is a 10 second exposure, with a 55mm lens, and a ND filter that I snapped early in the AM before anyone else showed up. I'm pleased with how it came out and I can't wait to put it on canvas in my office!
This is where I was at 6:37am today.

I'm super excited to be living behind several waterfalls starting Feb 20th. I will be able to take pictures daily instead of weekly, and in all the different climates. So come March, get ready for the waterfall pictures! (at Bull Creek Preserve)
Another tiny waterfall in a riverbed in Texas.
