This series depicts vanitas paintings that are re-imagined to comply with the technological world that we now live in. These objects are painted on a flat surface to give the illusion that they are three-dimensionally rendered objects from an advanced computer system. The texture of the triangles emulate plastic because of the technique of using a sanded surface behind the oils.  The objects that are portrayed revolve around the theme of death, religion, the after-life, and the fragility of life. They are placed in a deep space that represents the vast emptiness within the technological realm. The colors are inspired from video games that have become addictive to the human mind. These objects take up space in the composition that defy normal laws of physics, as I imagine most of the information in computer systems to be floating. There are elements of shattered television screen mixed into the oils in order to relay the direct relationship between the painting as a physical object and technology.
