I'm trying to change Leshy's design/head shoulder shape cause like, I tried to draw his eyes and it looked like SHIIIIIIT because I initially drew his ref with a simple round head? It works with the blindfold, but not without, he looks like if Voldemort was a bush lol

Comparison with Valefar, I gave him a big mane and an actual animalistic head shape, so it works!

But I doodle Leshy different from my old rendered ref now, I make him bulkier and fluffier, with some big fluff behind his neck and shoulders

And idk his head looks less round and his face less flat?

Anyway, I'm trying stuff.

I should stop trying to stick to the OG design somehow, because honestly I deviated from his real look a long time ago anyway. I think leshy stopped looking like little bush Leshy when I gave him a jawline and huge muscles instead of being a bushead on a stick lol, I should just accept my fate. Stop being self conscious about going full fanartist mode. I blame @vicaly's hot buff Leshy for my predicament U_U like I've seen big fluffy Leshys but this one, damn

Next wip I'm throwing out unfinished to lower pressure! Narinder's arrival. He was wiped out by colors and sounds and smells and left with 0 will to fight for days. No talking, dazed and mellow. Hiding in the dark a lot, coming out at night to sit and watch the sunsets. He even let the Lamb care for him. Lambie didn't even get to be mad at him.

I really wanted to make this one polished, I'm very much not happy with it. Oh well. I wanted this bit of lore out anyway.

I have the games Tiny Glade and House Flipper 2, and I used them to make a map of my cult and Morgan's house. Never posted anything tho, never doodled in it like I wanted, using it as BG for my drawings. I'll put them under the cut. But I discovered Make Room when I saw the little rooms Bamsara made for their Narinder and Lamb not long ago (I searched the post to link it but CANNOT for the life of me find it back, gimme if you have it) and I fell in love with the cute DA that is PERFECT for sketching cute lil chibis in it.

I recommend it, it's cheap and intuitive. Very chill.

Leshy doesn't sleep well, lots of nightmares. Which is why he sleeps in his garden sometimes. Morgan straight up can't sleep for days sometimes. They both try to hide it until they realize they're in the same boat and company helps. And maybe some cuddling. Leshy's house was initially made for Narinder, but the cat ended up sleeping in the cult's biggest tree behind the cemetery until Lambie had a tree house made there for him. So when they unexpectedly got a Leshy on their hands, they gave him the house since it's remote from the rest of the village and keeps him away from other people. He messed up the garden to his convenience and made things grow in there in record time. He's really good at identifying plants and knows their propreties, and with his crazy sense of smell he can tell which flowers are ready to make the best remedies. Morgan makes him shake himself for a good minute before he's allowed in his house.

I also made Narinder's treehouse, I'll share when I add the character. So is tiny glade, I made my cult grounds cause it's fun and helps me think about the characters moving around easier:

I know I’m (unsurprisingly) really late again, but AAAAAA I did it!!! So far I’ve only made one whole Artfight attack and for some reason I’ve been really struggling to even start more. I’m ALMOST done with my second attack, but still. I’m gonna really try doing some more and more regularly 😤

No guarantees tho, y’all should know what I’m like by now
