Jaclyn fished through her purse for a few bills, placing them on the bar as he placed the bottle in front of her. “Thanks.” She curled her hand around the drink, taking a long sip. She couldn’t handle liquor or mixed drinks very well, being a light-weight, but one beer wouldn’t hurt. Unsure of the etiquette of sitting at the bar, Jaclyn didn’t know whether to continue to conversation with the bartender or if that would be distracting. Slightly awkwardly, she asked, “So you get a lot of tourists here?”
