Amelia was sitting on a bench in the square of San Polo as she debated what to do next. She had to admit it was a beautiful place but she couldnât afford nothing in San Marco, it was crazy expensive for her budget. She had finished her daily training back home and was now free until nine at night for her shift at Mekkaâs nightclub. âWhat to do? What to do?â she asked herself making weird faces as if it would give her the answer she was looking for. Her brainstorming was unfortunately cut short when she noticed someone was watching, probably thinking she was crazy. She let out a nervous laugh âUm, it helps with your brain muscles. Totally wasnât making a fool of myself. All scientific facts.â Amelia said with fake confidence hoping they wouldnât bust her out for her lie.
âRight, of course,â Carter replied, not caring too much one way or another to refute her claim, âWell I didnât mean to interrupt your... brain muscles. You were just staring, so I thought maybe you were lost or something.â
