THE HAUNTING OF HILL HOUSE — 1.03, “Touch”
stainedheartss:
She had appeared in the room after one of her many servants told her that her guest had arrived. She laid on her side with impeccable cat-like balance at the top of the priceless Dutch couch from the 1960s that she had originally bought when it had been made and smiled.
“Hello Jack. I’m glad you could make it. So, I thought it over and you’re so cute that I think I’ll give you a choice…”
She snapped her fingers once and a few of her servants came in with empty trays. Lilith removed her necklace and earrings first, then one of her servants undid her dress, catching the custom made dress before it hit the polished French marble floor and took her shoes off. Lilith gave her servants a look and they all left the room.
Clad in only her underwear, Lilith walked towards Jack.
“A choice in what you would like to do with me. Fuck me on the couch or just stand here and talk?” She asked with a smirk.
Another choice, he thought, hoping this one was a lot easier for him to choose. He’s a little concerned what she’d do if he’d picked the wrong choice, but he stood resolute, showing none of his worries to her. He watched her as she began to undress in front of him. Though that wasn’t super unusual, he’d been witness to many people undressing before him.
He wanted to be respectful, looking down at his feet while she finished, only looking up when she walked up to him. The choice she posed him left him biting his inner cheek, knowing that only the one option was the correct one. For the first time since he got there he spoke, “I choose the first, miss.” He said, with a nod, “Having sex with you on the couch.”

Since he had to be there so late he was escorted by a guard from the Hive, taking him to the mansion of the vampire he’d met at the restaurant. He was nervous, but did his best not to show it as he sat within the vehicle they decided to use to transport him there. With nothing to distract him, he wondered just what was going to happen to him, his mind raced with ideas that progressively got worse. Eventually the car would stop, told to get out, and so he did closing the door behind him.
He’d take the walk up the drive until he got to the front door, with another deep breath to settle his thudding heart, he closed his hand into a fist and rapped against the door. It didn’t take long for a servant to answer it, and lead him into a room where he was told to wait. He wasn’t sure what he should be doing, so he stood there looking around at the place, getting an idea of who his mistress for the night was.
stainedheartss:
“Hmmm… wrong answer. Be a dear and kiss my hand.” She held out her hand for him to kiss.
She gazed at him curiously. “You are quite dense are you not? I cannot punish you here so I will do so at my mansion after my meal. Your shift ends soon, no? Meet me there at midnight, do not be late. Now shoo, get back to work Jack.” Lilith said with a devilish smile.
This wasn’t how he wanted things to go, and now he’d have to go and see her again after work. Of course, he didn’t say any of this out loud, “Of course, your grace.” He said softly, taking her hand and kissing the top of it as she told him to do.
He didn’t think he was particularly dense but he wasn’t going to prove her point by saying otherwise. Instead he’d listen to her directions, making sure he was at her mansion at midnight just as she instructed. “I will be there.” He said, bowing his head before leaving her alone with her meal.
stainedheartss:
She wasn’t satisfied with that answer. Lilith rolled her eyes and pursed her lips.
“I do not care about what some like! I asked you a question, now I want you to answer it. Should you be fearful of me or aroused by me Jack? I want to know what you think! Not everyone else, fuck everyone else. Choose wisely.” She snarled at him from her seat.
She stared at him, a brow raised as she awaited his answer.
Jack very nearly took a step back, but forced himself to keep still as the woman grew angrier. Good going, he thought as he pulled on his apron some more. He was just going to answer with the one he felt was right, whether it was right or not he didn’t know.
“I think I should be fearful, your grace.” He said, feeling every inch afraid of the other whether she liked that or not.
evelineclark:
“Jack!” She greeted, well pleased to see him – and quickly making her way to his side. She didn’t hesitate in taking his arm, mostly because she wanted to make sure he was warm after waiting to walk with her. Luckily he hadn’t been here the other day, even though the complicated feelings still swirled inside her. Sweetly, she kissed his cheek, “I would love to walk with you. Hopefully you haven’t gotten too cold waiting out here for me.” Evie rubbed the arm she’d taken like it might warm all of him up. “It’s good to see you again.”
`
With her arm around his they began to walk down the sidewalk towards where the Hive. The weather had been getting worse the past few days dropping to very cold temps, but he was grateful that he was given clothes that would actually keep him relatively warm. He was glad to be spending more time with her, however. “Not too cold, Ev. Probably best if we hurried, though, it seems to be getting colder by the second.” He said, with a soft chuckle as he kept close to her so she was also warm. “You too, how’ve you been lately? It’s been a while since we last talked.”
stainedheartss:
“You dare gaze into my eyes? Most humans that serve me would gaze cowardly at their feet. I can’t say I’m impressed with that.” Lilith said in a low voice as she glared at him.
“You are nervous, no? Don’t be. I don’t like nervous humans… they tend to sweat and start to smell like swines. And I doubt that a lowly human with such a cute face like yours would want to smell like a swine. I prefer the scent of fear… or arousal. Jack, which do you believe is the correct one? Should you be fearful of me or aroused by me? Choose carefully garçon.” She said, the last word slipping off of her tongue with ease since it was her mother tongue after all.
Lilith gazed at him with a smirk, watching his reaction carefully like a snake watching it’s prey loiter in the grass… the prey in question not knowing what was to come next.
It was hard to keep up with whom liked being looked at and those who did not, and sometimes he gets them jumbled up. He was feeling particularly nervous because he kept messing up, that maybe he’d be punished for it if she were to tell Xavier. Things he didn’t want to be worrying about on this cold day, but alas, there weren’t many days he wasn’t worried about something.
“I--” He swallowed, unsure of what to say to that, he was nervous but not enough to start sweating. When she asked him which was correct he found himself anxious, having to think on it for a moment before responding. “I’m not sure which is correct, but I believe some like a little bit of both while others like one over the other.”
Jack wasn’t aware of the correct answer as everyone was seemingly different, and he couldn’t be sure which way she leaned. Though with the way she was looking at him he wouldn’t be surprised if it were the former over the latter.
stainedheartss:
The human waiter was cute and rather nice… she knew he had to be… which was why she decided to mess with him a bit.
“Miss?” She said coldly.
She turned towards him and let out a bone-chilling laugh before immediately stopping to look him straight in his eyes with a frown on her face.
“You address me as your grace, not miss. Is that understood?” She snarled.
“But then again…” She purred as she leaned back in her seat with a sudden smirk.
“You lowly humans have no concept of propriety anyways. But you live in a society that is proper now, so you should get used to it.” She mused haughtiness evident in her voice.
“Now, after all of that… come here. Let me get a better look at you. You’re quite cute actually.” Lilith said as she eyed him up hungrily.
“What is your name?” She asked as her eyes pierced through him.
“My apologies, your grace.” He said instantly, an honest mistake on his part, but one that could lead to problems for himself with both her and his work. He’d hope she’d show him some grace, but wasn’t expecting it in the least. He had the urge to stare down at his feet, however he kept his gaze on her as to now appear even more rude than he’d just been.
He’d swallow under her scrutiny, moving in closer to her as she’d instructed of him. Nervously pulling at the apron that hung around his waist, knowing that look she was giving him all too well. “My name is Jack.” He said with a little nod of his head.

The other dining customers new that Lilith had just arrived, it was as if the air had shifted… the aura around her was mysterious… an unsettling mysterious aura. The waiters knew what she wanted, where she wanted to be seated and that if the order wasn’t right then she’d make them pay.
“The usual, darling.” She said a smile as the waiter seated her at the table she usually sat at.
Her order was usually a specially made raw steak with a bit of blood sauce drizzled on top with a bloody martini.
“Also, I might have some company. Do be a dear and put a chair across from me.” She instructed to another waiter.
“Thank you.” She said after he had done as she instructed as she smiled while awaiting her guest and her meal.
A very important client had everyone scrambling to accommodate her, if they didn’t they’d have to deal with Verity’s brother while she was still out. No one really had any desire to deal with him as he wasn’t nearly as decent as Verity was. Especially towards himself, which was why he did everything the guest asked including placing an extra chair where she’d said to.
“Is there anything else I could do for you, miss?”
Having gotten off a little earlier that day he made his way to the spa, hoping that maybe he’d be in time to walk Eveline back to the chateau from work. After their conversation about how often she got lost he couldn’t stand by and let that happen. Besides, he’d enjoy some company on his way back to the Hive, and he couldn’t think of a better person to walk with than with her. When he got to the spa he waited a in a small alley that lead to the back, standing there until he spotted her coming out of the building. “Hey, would you like to walk with me?”

Mei was sitting by the window as she poured over one of her notebooks, jotting down formulas and ideas in between sips of her tea when a shadow came over her. “Is there a reason you’re standing so close?” she asked, not even looking up to see who it was.
@xadlibitumhqstarters
He wasn’t sure how he hadn’t seen her sitting there, he must not have been paying any attention to what he was doing. “I’m so sorry, miss.” He said quickly, taking a step back so he wasn’t standing so close. “I wasn’t paying attention, and hadn’t seen you there.”
