PRINCESS;

         Although she was glad to see Jesse, she gave him a big pout. “You st-stole m-my Vulpix!” She gave him a light punch on the shoulder and sighed. “Well, wh-what are you d-doing here?”

“What else?” He furrows his eyebrows as he asks her this. “I’m playing Pokemon Go, obviously.” He then rubs his shoulder although her punch didn’t hurt, “You’re such a sore loser, it’s not my fault you’re slow at this.” After that he places his cool on her cheek and grins. “Let’s go get some ice cream.”

              Nowadays, with her Xbox still busted and the Pokemon Go fever was still off the charts, it was hard to get PJ kept her blue green eyes off the tiny screen of her iPhone 6 plus, especially when she was walking. As she journeyed, through the woods, she found a Vulpix which got her excited. Sure, she had caught several Vulpix before but she needed it to evolve it into a Ninetails. When it escaped the Pokeball after her failed attempt to catch it, it ran away which could only mean one thing, somebody had seen it too. A scowl formed her face as she pathetically stumped her foot on the ground, only to yelp in pain. “Wh-who’s out there?”

He was somehow bored, so he decided to play Pokemon Go. So he roamed around the campus to find Pokemons, he was somehow getting tired and decided to go back to his dorm, but when a Vulpix popped out, he stopped and went to catch it. He almost jumped when he heard a voice, but when he realized that it was just PJ, he laughed and went to reveal himself to her. “It’s just me. Your actual father.” He joked. “What are you doing here, young lady?”

PRINCESS ;

       Jesse’s presence was enough to make her better but she kept thinking all the inconvenience she brought to whole house. PJ was aware that he was scolding her and although she felt bad for what she had done, she got Jesse’s point. “I-I don’t know. I-I th-think the electricity went down the house.” She just shuddered thinking of all the possible punishment she would get. A frown suddenly turned into a smile when she asked him for a piggyback ride. “R-really?” She asked bashfully. “Yay!” PJ exclaimed before climbing on his back.

        He held her so that she wouldn’t fall off of him and then he began to make his way upstairs to his room, running. Once they had gotten to his room, he was slightly panting, he then crouched down to put PJ down. “Okay, you forget about what happened in Aether, and we go eat.”

PRINCESS ;

         As the face of the angry mob of Aether students flashed on her face, fears started to wrapped on her chest, tightening it to juice out the tears from her eyes. She felt guilt, worthlessness and stupidity at the same time. As they walked, she tilted her head so it would rest on his shoulder as she cried, her arms tight around his waist. “I-I…m-my…E-E-Xbox. O-Overh-h-heated. I-It’s still plugged…Oh my g-g-g-gods. Riyu w-will k-kill me.” She tried to explain through her tears but she was only a quarter certain that it came coherently. She couldn’t see where she about to step but she just trust that Jesse would take her to safety.

          The tears that came from PJ’s eyes made their way to his shirt and that certain spot where her tears had fallen, stuck to his skin. He tightened his grip on her, as if to tell her that she didn’t have to worry since he was there and there really was absolutely nothing to fear because he’s got it all handled. He moved his head to the side and left a soft almost ghost-like kiss on her forehead. “You should’ve unplugged it. You forget to turn it off every three hours, PJ, you should always have your phone remind you at least.” He was scolding her, but his voice was still soft. “Riyu won’t stay mad at you for so long, just relax, okay?” He began to rub small soothing circles on her shoulder with his thumb. Once they had reached outside of Nyx, he made her look up at him by cupping her cheeks. He wiped the tears that remained on her face with his thumb and he smiled. “Do you want me to give you a piggy back to my room?” He always seemed like he was talking to an eight year old child whenever PJ was like this, he always moved to that tone because he thought that it helped her calm down. PJ was basically his little sister, even if he was only older than her by a couple of months.

PRINCESS ;

           She couldn’t almost hear the sound in her surrounding as her heart pounded against her chest. She would like to think that it was a general blackout and it had nothing to do with the exploded XBox she had left plugged in her room. She felt someone hugged her and she knew it was Jesse because of his scent and the way she said her name. She turned around, teary eyed. “Jesse,” she exclaimed before wrapping an arm around his shoulder. “Oh my g-gods. I’m so d-d-d-dead. D-Dead. Hide m-e, please.” She muttered on his shoulder.

            Worry masked Jesse’s face when Princess reacted like that. He knew how delicate she was, how it was easy for her to have tears in her eyes, and how difficult it was for him to calm her down. He had known her for quite some time now (two years) and he would never get used to her teary-eyed state. “Shush, shush, now.” He rubbed her back soothingly. “Let’s go to my dorm,” He nudged her and then began to grab her with him towards Nyx, he made sure he would have his arm around her protectively as if to tell her she was fine, she was all right. “What happened?”

PRINCESS ;

        Sitting in front of the Aether house, PJ was looking quite miserable. Normally, she would be in her dorm being locked in her room while playing with her XBox. It made a loud pop then smoke came out of it before everything shut down. She came out to look for help on how to take the plug from the wall but she was too bummed she forgot. “I-it’s not like I c-can’t live with-without it.” She sighed before she heard a collective groan from people of the Aether house after they lose electricity. “O-oh.”

         Jesse just came from Taco Bell, he bought two burritos because he could never forget about Princess whenever he bought food. The blonde tends to forget to eat, and he really didn’t like that. He had to constantly text her to ask if she had eaten, the only thing that they text about was food and video games. Their relationship was solely built because of food and video games. Once he had gotten in the campus, he had parked his car near Aether and made his out of it and jogged his way towards the house his friend resided in. A smile had came to his lips when he had seen his friend outside of the house, that was good for her, sunlight was good for that pale skin of hers. When she had gotten near her, he hugged her from behind and said, “Princess” it sounded like the way someone would say ‘aw’ to a cute person. He had let go of her and showed her the paper bag he was holding. “I’ve got food---” He then blinked a couple of times, “Wait, what made you go outside?”
